Nice to see pelliculosa in the thread.
Saw some allenii in Berkeley today.

And A. muscaria right across the street.

And since a lot of you probably don't browse the cult forum or woodlovers thread, here's a couple more pics from an allenii project.

Yea keeping with the theme of 2020, it hasn't been a great year for the fungi either lol.

I had a great year fungi-wise! I finally discovered some allenii and a few possible cyans after searching since last fall, and I got some mycelium and spore prints to start my own patches. Next year, I hope to discover some azzies so I can add that to my patches. The lack of rain and all-summer-long-fires do suck though.

Recently walking around Redwood City I had a lucky find here next to a sprinkler. So exciting to be out hunting again.

Nice finds man. You know they are there now.

Used a couple colonized chips to inoculate cardboard and 20-30 boiled chips indoors in winter 2019 (sandwiched the chips between two sheets of boiled cardboard). Then in April 2020, mixed the colonized cardboard (shredded) and chips with more boiled chips and cactus soil in a clay pot and moved it outdoors. Watered around twice per week in summer and around 5x per week in fall/winter.

Booyah. Finally. A sizeable patch of chunky Allenii clusters to help bring home the season. New patch in non-irrigated but prime habitat, these guys were super densely packed, it was hard getting in there with trimmers. After a bunch of small but nice patches this season, im exalted to find a big ass patch of these thick-bodied beauties 🤩🤩🤩

Hello again - 'tis my second season here. It's been a drier year, but was able to see the spot I found from last year sprouting up a bunch of small P. Cyanscens.
Since they were small, I kept going back with water at night to water them. Try as I did - not nearly as photogenic and massive as last year's at this spot, went back and they were starting to look on the downswing thus picked a portion of them:

It's a known spot and was able to get some progeny to sprout up in a small planter of mind.
Will be posting a ID request for confirmation still being relatively new and am cautious of a look-alike of galerina popping up in a batch.
Additionally, looks like some good Alleni found this season, I'll need to brush up that species to better spot them as I may have come across them last year without thinking they could be Alleni.

Great find, bush lurker! Those are some seriously meaty looking Mushies.
The patches I found earlier in this thread are fruiting again after this latest rain, and I’m happy to say my final dried yield has already topped 300g.
Oddly enough, I’ve seen next to zero Cyans this year. I found one, lonesome cyan a couple days ago, and less than 4g of total Cyans this season.

Lurker with the field of dreams. It's especially crazy to find a non-irrigated spot fruiting like that now.

More holiday cheer to finish out this crazy year. After yesterdays find, I got inspired to go check sone other non-irrigated prime habitat, and one had a gigantic fruiting but unfortunately about half had turned to black mush (like in the last pic). Luckily there was still plenty of fatties to harvest.

Thats what I thought too breeg, but now Im thinking its a good time to check those non-irrigated spots especially if they are in deep shade, they could be fruiting, its been pretty humid since the last rains
