Hey guys,
I wanna get a new pressure-cooker its just awful to have one with space for maximum four jars of 435ml. Tried to get the Presto 01781 23-Quart Pressure Canner and Cooker which is mentioned by bodhisatta or something similar. But it seems to be impossible to get this one in europe for a good price with shipping - Have to pay around 80-130 euro for shipping or they start selling it for 200+.
Maybe someone could recommend a good one around this size and from good quality? What does the Presto 01781 23-Quart Pressure Canner and Cooker cost in the US/canada? Currently there is an offer at amazon for 175Euro inc. shipping - If there is not a better option for me as european, I think I'll get this one even if 175 euro hurts EDIT: Damn, the offer was not for europeans, for me I need to pay 210€..goddamn.

Okay, found a deal for 180€ with all costs. That hurts but I bought it now - Should be delivered between christmas and new year - Just a little view of hope and fun to deal with the coming months of hard lockdown.

Presto's in the states run around 80$, but I'd buy one even if it was 250$. These are an investment and yea the price hurts a little but they literally last for 5yr plus if you take care of them. My original presto which is an older model has ran hundres if not thousands of times over the last 5-6yrs and it still works perfect. The price sucks but figure out how many cycles you can run with it and it makes it almost silly not to have a decent sized pc.

hello i had the same problem until a few weeks ago. i spent hours looking for a presto 23 in europ. found nothing .. then bought it from amazon. 4 !! he had needed days from the usa. very fast .... about 180 dollars including shipping. is definitely worth it. love him.
only the first time it left traces of aluminum on the hob .. somehow burnt itself in .. does not go away. maybe a good idea first gently sand down the floor. I think there were bumps and chamfers on the floor due to the manufacturing process. otherwise everything was great!
