Silicone it to the lid.
I put a ring of silicone around the tit that's going to go through my lid hole. I push it on and the silicone expands outwards to the edge of the syringe filter completely coating the bottom of it where it then mates to the lid. I give it a twist to ensure the silicone is 100% covering the area between the lid and the bottom of the filter.
For added protection you can make the hole a little bigger so the silicone squeezes through to the other side of the lid then apply silicone there before the top side cures so the silicone on the bottom mates with the silicone on the top forming a plug that will keep the unit in.

Lightly scuffing the lid round the holes and the underside of your filter with some sand paper will help give the silicone something extra to "grab" onto.

The Silicon is the right one high Temps silicone ID the right choice. I think it's good know i try not to touch the filter.
How much time it's needed to show sign of mycelium in the Liquid Culture? I inject 2 cc spores from the Syringe. I can't see any spores in the Syringe hope the seller don't sell me some shit. Than I hope I don't make a big mistake sucking litte air in my spore syringe after I pull the needle out of the Silicone lid ;(

Spores to lc/grain can be risky unless your syringe is super clean Always best start on agar If you not up to trying agar BRF cakes could be another option *Mycelium can take a couple days to a week to show
