It's hilarious that some of you are making excuses for democrats after they repeatedly screw their constituents with their republican counterparts.  $600 to every US taxpayer while they give billions to other countries and various institutions within this country.  This is a shitty bill supported by all but 2 democrats.  AOC said something about how it's like a hostage situation to give reps a 5,000 page bill and expect them to vote on it in two hours...And then she votes in favor of the bill.  All she did was prove that their tactics work.

Why couldn't they simply make a bill that supported only the people of America?  Instead of giving billions to other countries, give that money to the people here.  These politicians trash our economy with lockdowns and then give billions of our tax dollars to foreign countries.

Because then the republicans wouldn't vote for it.

Tulsi voted against it because she has the American peoples interest over the special interests.

Just imagine all the shit fuckery hidden in that 5k page gem. It is more than clear that our this government is paralyzed by corruption.

"This bill dished out hundreds of billions of dollars going towards special interests, going towards the military industrial complex, going towards foreign countries -- meanwhile saying, Here's what's left for you. You get $600'... It is an insult and a slap in the face to every single American in this country who is struggling."

So just curious, who all in general do you prefer to be executed?

You don't have to name them all of course (or you don't have to answer at all obviously if you don't want to). Just give me a top five that you would like to see assassinated. Or is it just republicans in general that you want eradicated? And what about republican voters? Should they be punished for their votes and if so how harshly?

I'm genuinely curious and fascinated -- I just want a peak into the mind of a person who feels so strongly about their politics that they wish death upon those who oppose them.

I'm not advocating for violence. I'm simply saying that is a bunch of republicans, voters, politicians, whatever, died tomorrow, I wouldn't really care. Do u?

I am not willfully ignorant but you are clearly being intelectially dishonest by stating that the republicans controlling one legislative body, the white house and the supreme court equals them having the ability to pass whatever they want. I expect better from you kryptos.

Sure. I have republican voters whom I'm friends with. I have friends I grew up with who vote republican. I have coworkers who vote republican. Heck I have people in my immediate family who vote republican.

I also have liberal friends, coworkers, and family members as well.

To be honest if I had to put a number on it, it's probably close to 50/50 in that regard.

I don't value one's life less because of their politics. But if you do, that's your prerogative. I don't judge you for that. It's your life and you can value anyone's life the way you'd like.

For the record I consider myself a pretty stout centrist and I really want nothing to do with either party, particularly the nasty ones who reside on the far end of the spectrum (right & left).

The Democrats came up the HEROES act which was supposed to extend the federal $600/week extra from pua until the end of January. They came up with it back in fucking March but the Republicans didn't do anything with it. Waited until the end of December and we only get half of what was originally proposed.

I was calling Billy Ray willfully ignorant.

Of course republicans don;t have the ability to pass whatever they want anymore. Otherwise we'd have another huge corporate tax holiday, and you wouldn't even get 600$.

I'm simply saying that blaming the party that controls 16.6% of the government is, for lack of better term, retarded. But then again, so is most of US politics. I was reading an article the other day that went through every representative of the last 50ish years and found that republicans are significantly more likely to lie and significantly more likely to vote against the best interests of their voters, but democrats are much more likely to get blamed for lying and voting against the interests of their constituents. We're literally in a situation where one party shits on the floor and the other party is blamed for it.

Yeah, funny that. One man's assertion of their basic god-given rights is another man's death threat.

Personally, I stopped caring about whether people in general live or die after surviving a mass shooting. I guess, more accurately, I stopped pretending to care. I suspect I never really cared about whether people live or die, I just never realized it until people died around me and the main thing going through my mind was how bad it would be if one of my students got killed and I had a conspicuously empty seat that I would have to address at my 8am the next day.

I also have republican friends, coworkers, and family members. If they die, it is what it is.
