Habitat: found growing on wood chips they were dumped in a field with no real trees nearby. Uk, ambient temps have been quite mild for a few weeks around 10°c average and rainy
Gills:quite tightly packed, attached, light brown in colouur.
Stem:it's throwing me a bit that the stem seems to be a similar colour to the gills... The mushroom are quite moist but some of them have a lighter almost white stem as I would expect (the white ones seem dryer) the stems were all roughy 3-6 cm long and around 4 thick. quite strong/fibrous. They also seemed to remove quite a bit of substrate when picked and do not have an anulus
Cap: 3-5cm across.. wavy shape very smooth/shiny varying in colour from a golden brown to chestnut
Spore print color:blacky/browny blue
Bruising:bruise a purpley bluey colour (similar to a human)
Will update with a proper spore print soon as I just pressed the bottom of the mushroom gently against paper but have got a couple sitting for longer to develop naturally

Would the two species identified above corespond with a dark brown/purple spore print (I think that's the colour I can see)

I thought the two above were a rusty orange print

Yeah Hypholoma has purple/brown spores. Galerina is orange/brown, but they don't look like Galerina.

Ok thank you all for your responses. I will continue the hunt, it's good to see things in the flesh so hopefully next time I come across hypoloma I will know what I've got
