PE on BRF Cakes Picture

My Red Spore cakes are on their second flush since birthed on December 11th. My PE cakes look like this... (Pause, analyze picture below, resume reading) My temp is around 18C or 66F ( I know that is a little low, but out of my control). Are they just taking their time because that is what PEs do? Also, many have stated to keep the PE cakes nice and wet. These suckers are WET... Literally, they seem to have double the moisture content of that of my RS cakes. Give me your thoughts Shroomites!

So no replies in 24 hours. UGH... The good news is that more and more pins are starting to appear. I have 5 PE cakes and for the longest time only 2 were pinning. I birthed these suckers on 12/4 and they are just now starting to pin. Does PE always take this long? I am glad I had red spore going or I would think my growing conditions were crap (they are not because I am getting great yields on my RS cakes). I will keep updating for those of you who care.

Im not sure what you want people to say. Good job on your first flushes. Yess 66 is a bit cold. Yes PE can take a lil bit longer, you seem to know that. When you say red spore do you mean PF red spore, Redboy, or something else?

If they’re wet and they’re pinning, stop misting/watering them until the flush is done.. the watering were to carry them to this point and load their water resources for the flush. if you can up the FAE a little, do that. Good job getting them to this point! They look plenty wet.. I’d take them out of the water dish.. you can water them too much.. it’s a fine line with PE.
If the fruits look like they’re growing all crazy because of too much water, take them out if the FC in open air for a couple hours to dry out a scoach

Faht, that was exactly the pointers that I was looking for. I just took them off the water tray and they are pinning like crazy! I will not mist anymore until they look like they are dry. I started this hobby almost 5 months ago and I finally achieved some success. It almost makes up for me being an orphan. Sweet!
