Three types found in Southern WA. ID request.
    #27098428 - 12/19/20 08:58 PM (3 years, 1 month ago)

Among my hunt, I found three kinds of mushrooms that I’m curious about. I will label them A, B and C. Hopefully I can line the pictures up in an organized fashion

Habitat:
All were found in a forest setting right in the ground.

Gills:
Two white, one purple. See pictures.

Stem:
See pictures

Cap:
See pictures. Nothing stands out.

Spore print color:
Currently taking.

Bruising:
None.

Other information:
Type B has a rather long root-like stem.

A.

B.

C. I’m guessing a purple Cort.

Not 100% sure, but with some confidence they are as follows:
A. Clitocybe sp.
B. Tricholoma sp.
C. Laccaria amethystina

#3 would be Laccaria amethysteo-occidentalis, being found on the west coast, if that identification is correct (seems right to me based on the thick gills and shaggy stem and colors, but a white spore print would confirm it).

Your ID seems good. The spore prints for all came out white. Trich Terreum looks very close.

B looks like pluteus cervinus to me. Those gills look free, no? But white print suggests otherwise. I'm a total amateur, but thought I would chime in

Sure, second opinion is always good.

That said, Pluteus cervinus has pink-brown, kinda salmon color spore print. Also I see no similarly to any Pluteus sp.

Yeah I'm aware that pluteus prints are typically pink, that's why I said the white print suggests otherwise. Just looked similar to me, esp. because the gills appear to be free, at least in these photos.

But like I said, I'm a novice and I would bet money that I am wrong

Cheers
