So my questions are: does anyone have experience using an All American PC with an Induction Heater? I’m aware it’s aluminum so I bought a converter plate for it. My Nuwave Titanium is 1800W and I’m also curious if my 120V outlet will work with that too and get it up to 1800W safely? Please do not recommend propane. The goal here is to have my PC as close to my hood as possible

120v 60hz AC will power a 1800w DC induction hot plate.

The hotplate will work on whatever service it's designed to plug in to

Thanks! I didn’t want to have to install a special outlet! I’m curious now if it will heat my AA PC if I have a converter plate

I used to own a sterilizer and I had to sell it to pay rent years ago :,(. They were so easy to use. The main reason I went with a pressure cooker this time around was so I can use it as a canner for garden veggies in the fall. But yeah just waiting on the converter plate to show up. I may be the one answering my own question here and I’ll post results

It works. 1) AA 930 Pressure Cooker, with a 2) NuWave Titanium 1800W Induction Cooktop, coupled with a 3) Stainless Steel 8inch Converter Plate w/o a handle. Got it up to 15psi (unloaded) in about a half hour on the MAX temperature setting. Merry Christmas!

I will also add that the 30 + minute come up time is not ideal, especially for an unloaded PC.... I did also struggle to get a steady stream of steam to vent. It was invisible for the most part and was more like moist air. It came up to pressure just fine and I dropped it from 560 F to 375 F to maintain the 15 PSI. I use a regulator weight, not a petcock type PC and I’ve heard venting isn’t as big of an issue since the weight vents while processing. I guess I’m confused why I was unable to see steam steadily vent? Any opinions on the lack of visible steam and 30+ min come up time? Is this a problem?
