If you pour the agar at the right temperature you won't get condensation. The condensation comes from the heat of the agar.

That temp is fine. Try pouring your plates in stacks, it will limit the condensation to the top one or two. It’s the temperature difference between the inside and outside of your plates that cause the condensation so the lower plates in the stack will stay relatively condensation free.

You can let your plates sit on a rack or whatever in your SAB, cover the arm holes (I use plastic/saran wrap), and leave them for 24-48 hours and condensation will clear up. Then wrap them afterwards.
Even if I pour at 114F and as the last plate is poured the agar is solidifying, I still get a couple plates with condensation. Not bad, but still enough to affect visibility. If I have time I usually let them sit in an SAB to evaporate. Never had any issues from this method and I've seen a few others mention doing it as well.

I also believe thinly poured plates are easier to make dry.

I do mine RR style.
After my media bottle is all sterilized, I place in a water bath that I heat to 119"F with my sous vide. I open the sleeve and roll it up. Put plates in 2 stacks of 10. Pour my plates. Then stack them back up, inflate the plastic sleeve with clean air and place back over stack. Then let cool overnight in front of the hood. Sometimes 48 hours, till condensation subsides. Then do my work, and immediately parafilm as soon as work is done.

I usually take top 2 plates and crack them open after pouring a stack and then transfer to new plates as they cool with lid cracked for a moment or let stack dry for like 29 or 30 min in flow hood its really slow even with air blowing across your plates you need a flowhood mt trusty sab

Parafim fucking sucks Look Me Explain If you make the plates too tight it will make holes in the side you have to stretch it and then kind of let it soft and and then wrap that around it's really good idea to go to layers but parafilm brakes it's not reliable it's too sticky to the other plates that comes off its kind of shity I've got it down to an art but still I have to work extra hard a little bit too much tension and develop micro-tears overtime like three days you'll look at them and see this guy little micro tears I usually get a piece about an inch and 3/4 triple it over and then use that now but I really wish there was a better solution

I like parafilm. I just hate cutting strips. They should sell cases with pre-cut strips.

I have a solution for that too. I use a sheet of aluminum flashing as my table in flont of hood i just pull out like 2 ft of parafilm and swipe wiith scalpel boom as fast as you can pull your hand across them they cut and then un wrap them as i install them and let trash fall to floor

Parafilm does not suck but if you really hate it that bad just cut down a roll of saran/plastic wrap to shorter lengths and use that
I like parafilm better than plastic wrap (parafilm gang ), unless I'm wrapping full stacks of blank plates after pouring. Nothing beats plastic wrap for wrapping 10 plate stacks

If you don’t precut the strips they actually stretch farther. I can wrap a 90mm plate easily with a single square.
