Hello, I am new to this hobby. I had a spore syringe of cubensis gt and I decided to give it a try. I've followed all the steps from the pf tek and for some reason something doesn't work well, because the cakes are pinning quite slowly, poor and the shrooms mature very very early (veil caps breaking) and they are very very small.
I've been misting and fanning 3 times a day. Maybe a bit too much misting. Perlite is about 3-4 inches, no clogged holes, I tought that maybe it's too fine so I removed the fine rocks from it, also I've drained the water from it very well. I haven't been consistent with lighting but they always had ambient lighting during day. I have a digital hygrometer which I know it might get stucked but it constantly reads 99% RH, after I fan it goes to ~85% RH and then it goes back to 99% pretty fast. Now I've bought an analog one and I am going to see what it reads. I have a tendency to f*** with them too much and I think that I might over misted them a bit but with proper FAE that shouldn't be a problem. SGFC is enough elevated, it has enough space around it and it isn't in a closet. I don't know why but I think that I don't have proper FAE even tho I followed the instructions. My tub has a raising grid at the bottom, you can see it in pics, do you think that could be a problem to proper FAE? I relly don't know what to do, I've read that this problems could be due to mycelium being too dry or too wet and/or not enough FAE. I am thinking to split the cakes in two groups, and have 2 of them overly misted and the other 2 under misted to see what happens.

EDIT: As you see in one of the pics there is small cake in the corner, that was the first one and I had the thought that I might overmisted it. So I decided to not mist it at all quite a few days ago and now I am starting to see pins around the bottom and guess what, I took the cake and surprise there are healthy shrooms growing on the bottom, so this means that there are optimal conditions there. So, it means that I overmisted or that there isnt enough FAE, now, I will cut down the misting a bit and I am thinking to get some of the perlite out, so the air can move easily trough the sgfc.

EDIT2: I have calibrated the analog hygrometer and it shows 73% RH which is too low, while the the digital one shows 99%, so it is crap. Also the perlite was almost dry. I drained too much water from it I am going to add some perlite and just do the things as they are. Also I began to think that I was way overmisting, and I am realizing that I am stupid and hyopcrite because I think I know things which I don't. I also have to learn patience and let the things be.
EDIT3: I think I've came to the conclusion that my RH was too low, I had too little perlite in my sgfc, too much FAE and I was overmisting them. Also my SGFC is a bit short but I think it will do.

Ok, some days later. I started to have more patience. I barely mist them and they still get over-misted. This means that the SGFC does not get enough FAE and it is not properly built. Well, it is properly buily but the tub itself is not good. It is a bit small, but this wouldn't be a problem if it wouldn't have those plastic grids (which are meant for strengthening the tube) around it because it doesn't allow proper air circulation. I wish I knew this from the beginning. SIMPLE TUB. This is a beautiful learning journey.

Lack of fae and multi spore genetics can lead to small fruits. Usually the former is accompanied by fuzzy feet which are especially noticeable on GT as they have darker stems.
