I grew this strain in a bin a few weeks ago and it grew okay.
I spawned a smaller bin and I kept surfaces good. (i've been doing this 2 years now and know the basics pretty well)
I see a lot of tiny pins in the middle then more on the sides but 90% of them are blue in the cap and look to be aborted. Now this bin I did mist less as I was having other abort issues.
I run it in a closet sized room with a heater at 73F / 74F, I have a fan but it was drying out my sub as the low speed is broken and only high works so I stopped using it. The surface got super dry so I would mist and it caused the aborts?
Like I said ive been doing it 2 years but now im having issues I never had, Subs are getting really dry on top and pins stop growing or abort when I mist.
Should I just rip all the pins and dunk the sub and try again?
My cricut will pop when I dehydrate / PC in the same room so sometimes I turn the heater off and forgot to turn it on for half a day. IS that causing it to dry out?
could it be due to winter and I need a humidifier/fogger go off every little but?
I did have a marthda but I dismantled it as it was getting super gross looking and didnt seem to do any better vs the bins I left out in the closet.

Pins don't usually abort from misting, so long as there is proper FAE and the pins don't stay wet for too long.
Dry conditions DO cause aborts however. I think your misting may be too late and/or to little to keep the pins from aborting.
What type of heater are you using? Is it an oil filled radiator type, or an infrared heater with the exposed heating elements that glow red like a toaster? Heaters and cubes don't really like eachother in most cases. If you are using an infrared type, especially in a closet sized room, that is almost certainly your problem. The oil types are more forgiving.
How cold is your grow area? Is heat really necessary? I wouldn't use one personally if temps stayed above 65°F most of the time.

the room is not heated as part of the house so it gets super cold. like 30f-40f you can see your breath in the room most mornings lol. Its an old room that we have not used in years so I used it for this.
I do have a plug in heater that shows red coils, Its a tall skinny one.
In the summer I do not use a heater and they do fine, I have issues every winter but never had it so the whole top got dry this dry.
Maybe I just need to keep them wet longer? or maybe its just get a new fan that can go on low mode and keep the hater runnin at like 72 but idk.
I have a 6qt bin that didnt even give me fruit taller then half inch before they aborted. its annoying and idk what to do.
