ID request of suspected wild oysters

Hi went on a hike yesterday and found what I believe to be some wild oysters.
If someone could please let me know if these are for sure wild oyster mushrooms that would be great!
Oyster #1 I'm pretty sure is some kind of blue oyster?
Oyster #2 I'm pretty sure is still an oyster but was thinking it could be a angel wing mushroom but the wood seems to be a hardwood of some kind.
I'm new to hunting for edibles but from my understanding there is no oyster mushroom look alikes in north america other than the angel wing mushroom?
And angel wing mushrooms only grow on dying conifers where as oysters only grow on hard wood?
If someone more knowledgeable then myself could please let me know if these are for sure wild oyster mushrooms or not that would be great!
Anyway on to the pictures:
Oyster mushroom #1: --------------------------------------- Habitat: pacific coastal forest growing from a trailside tree (forget what type of tree) Location: Point Reyes National Seashore north of San Francisco, CA Gills: see pictures Stem: see pictures Spore print color: white (see pictures) Scent: faint sweet smell

Oyster mushroom #2: --------------------------------------- Habitat: pacific coastal forest growing from dead tree branches (seems to be some kind of hardwood) Location: Point Reyes National Seashore north of San Francisco, CA Gills: see pictures Stem: see pictures Spore print color: white (see pictures) Scent: faint sweet smell

And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Well there are several similar species to oysters. For example genus Panellus or Lentinus. Angel wings as well. They could be recognized by different tree host (softwood).
Your first pic collection is oyster (Pleurotus Ostreatus)

thank you for the information!
I'll need to do some reading on Panellus and Lentinus genus' as well as tree types.

Your second pic collection probably Pleurotus sp, but it could be Pleurocybella Porrigens (Angel Wings).
Well the tree is fallen, so take the picture of nearby (closest) trees, try to identify it, or post here and I will help you identify. Lying tree is of the same kind I suppose.
Or wait other identifiers here who could maybe spot the difference.

I did not take pictures of the surrounding area and trees nearly enough.
The thought did not occur to me until I got home and realized being able to identify the tree that they where growing from would be such great help.
And this area is over a 2 hour drive from my home so sadly I wont be going back to take more pictures for some time.
My next outing I will be more mindful of what to document. I'm still new to this and learning as I go along.
Thank you for your help!

When i think about it further, in this case we just need to find out if the lying tree is softwood, that's very easy. We don't need exact id on it.
Was it mixed forest ? Because I can see lots of leaf litter. Probably decidious forest. So if you can tell the difference at least between the conifer and broad leaved tree, that's easy, especially in the winter, because conifers keep their 'leaves' (needles)...
If it's hardwood you got yourself a nice lunch. If it's softwood, it's inconclusive, because I have seen oysters on conifers, not very often, but it happens.

Yes it is a mixed forest. lots of coastal oak which doesn't loose its leaves in the winter.
I'm starting to thing the fallen tree they are growing on is an oak?
I found some pictures of the trail and surrounding area online.

Yeah it's hardwood mostly. Can't guarantee about fallen tree, but probably oak or such. Also the stem is evident in second collection, angles have "kind of" stem. Also the mushroom thickness is satisfactory.
I'm pretty confident it's oyster in the second collection , Pleurotus sp.

Yeah, They All Look Like Oysters To Me. Pluerotus Sp Gills Run Down The Stipe & Do Not Stop, Unlike The Panellus Sp & Lentinus Sp Which Have Gills That Stop.
Oysters Are Also Thicker & Meatier Than Angel Wings.
