Does the clear part of an LC syringe work?

Hi,
First time using a LC syringe of Golden Teacher I got from spores101.co. Half of the LC was cloudy.
Question) Is even the clear liquid viable in the syringe?
I made sure to get some of the cloudy bits into some WBS grain jars I have cause I assumed that's where the mycelium is... but I also put the the clear part of it into other jars too in case it works.
Curious about the main question. Thanks in advance.

Strike 1 vendor lc. Tried that short cut 1.5 years ago when I came back from a few yrs away. I got bacteria & trich only from 101 & another vendor I wont name. Just glad I tested em on Pasty plates prior to going all out.
To your question with a good shake tiny bits of myc should be distributed even if not readily visable to the naked eye. I perspnally would continue shaking or vibrating until i was getting visable myc in every drop as I find colonization faster & far less likely to have slow/ stalled jars. If I see myc going in I am certain i have adequate inoculation & any failure or lack of progress can be atributed to a different vector.
Check those LC's on agar & save yourself probable frusteration & lost time, effort, energy & supplies.

Thanks for the reply!
We'll see how this goes... it might fail completely. At least I'll have learned something but it was a bit expensive for the LC syringe. (39 CAD or something)
I'm hoping one of my many experiments works so I can make my own spore prints (again) and just go from there.
I had beginners luck the first time I ever did this 15 years ago in Vancouver and did everything from scratch and made my own prints... almost every attempt after that has failed for whatever reason / mistakes I probably made.
Cheers.

Well if things go south read Pastywhyte's Easy Agar Tek
Gather supplies & pm me. I am sure I can find a clean swab & a print or 2 to get ya back on trak w/o getting bent over by 101

Will do. Some of 101's spore syringes I had laying around worked... the quality is not great as I've made my own spore syringes and had every single jar out of a pack colonize. This time only 3 jars worked.
If one of these cakes works I should have enough to work with. If not, I'll contact you. Thanks for reaching out.
