Most are Panaeolus cyanescens, and all that you have on paper are Panaeolus cyanescens.  The third photo has one Conocybe apala in front and the rest are Panaeolus cyanescens.

Is there a global phenomenon where Conocybe sp. are always found near active Panaeolus sp.? I think I almost always (maybe always?) find Conocybe sp. near Pan cincts in the Eastern U.S.

My global phenomenon is always finding Conocybe growing near Conocybe :rotfl:

We are devoid of pretty much all mushrooms in my area :mad2:

Sucks doesn't it! All we have here are Psathyrella and Conocybe, everything else that I find is a rare occurrence that happens once in a blue moon.

Both genera are typical decomposers, and tend to favour composted and manured substrates.
Special about Conocybe is that some of the species seem to really like poultry droppings.
