Fruiting humidity?
    #27095243 - 12/18/20 04:01 AM (3 years, 1 month ago)

Hey,

I apologize for the tired question, but I've done some research on both non-active and active mushrooms and noticed that humidity when fruiting non-actives is around 85% but with actives it's constantly 99% even throughout fruiting.

Is this right, and why do actives need 99% humidity in fruiting? It seems that a few dots aren't connecting, but it's probably because I'm super in-experienced. So I'm all ears on why it's like this.

You are fine with something around 85%-99% humidity for getting pins, even with less it should work.

Actives dont need to have 99% humidity. As mentioned above, the humidity can vary quite a bit during fruiting. I wouldnt go lower than 70% thou. 70%-100% is a decent range to be in.

Cubenis is pretty resilient
