Are these Psilocybe Pelliculosa?
Found near Hood Canal Washington in a conifer forest.

Probably, though I can't rule out Galerina (a non-toxic one). A closeup photo of the gills of a mature one would help and/or a spore print.
It looks like there are two species going under the name Psilocybe pelliculosa based on sequence data, I am not sure if they are possible to tell apart by photo because I only have photos of one of the phylotypes.
There's also a discrepancy in spore size, with AH Smith reporting smaller spores when he described the species than other authors. Perhaps that's a way to tell the species apart.
I can't tell right now if cyanofibrillosa is one of the two types, or a third species. More study needed, and it's something I am working on.

All the ones pictured appear to be all Psilocybe Pelliculosa, great find Lexusmike. Make sure they all have a separable gelatinous pellicle.

Great find, jus curious were they found in a logging area like you often hear about them growing in or a more intact old growth forest?

They grow on logging roads(consisting of gravel), old clearcuts, trails, and on the forest floor. Alan if you are interested I can send prints and dried samples for you to study of the Psilocybe Pelliculosa I collect here on Vancouver Island, BC, Canada. Alan I have to agree with you that there is probably another species or two under the name Psilocybe Pelliculosa, as it's seems they will vary in size, cap shape, sometimes stem colour but still having all the key features of Pelliculosa.
Lexusmike, if you can go out and get some more photos to share I feel that would be best for us to help you.

These were found growing near a forest owned by a logging company. It's a housing development that was cut into the forest about 5 years ago, these were found growing on the edge of the driveway.
I'll try to get more pictures and details. I was able to confirm these do have the gelatinous pellicle

Thank you for the habitat info Lex, and sweet!
I zoomed in on the photos and from what I can see in the photo, I can confirm they all look like pellis and I don't see any imposters hiding amongst them. I'm not a TI but I'll stand by what I said.

Great, I am interested in collections as long as we can be sure that the mushrooms in the photo are the same ones I am studying. Would be confusing if I am studying one variety and the photos are of the other one.

Does this help ID them as Psilocybe Pelliculosa, they have a very strong Psilocybe smell as well as a gelatinous pellicle

I have a hard time printing Pellis sometimes, I feel they dry out to fast when printing to produce a decent print. Try a drop of water on each cap and put a cup over them next time you print, and see if that helps ya.

I also found some lighter colored mushrooms growing close by. They look fairly similar but grew much larger in size. I wasn't sure if they were a different species or just some abnormally large Pelliculosa, so I left them just to be safe.
Thought it would be an interesting share. Alan Rockefeller, or any other TI, I'd love to get your opinion on my finds.

It a mix of Hypholoma Species & Psilocybe Pelliculosa. The bigger yellow orangish specimens are a Hypholoma species, other then that you got some more Pellis Lex.

You are fine to pick them, just make sure to separate them in two different bags, take good photos of them, and lay them out on paper & # each one. To make sure we can weed anything bad out. You are fine to pick things you are unsure about, just don't fucking eat it. Always make sure to get it I'D before consuming, ALWAYS!

I've never found Pellis before so being extra cautious before I may or may not be consuming. They look quite different from the Psilocybes I usually find(cyans, baeos, and stuntzii

It's all good Lex, I was just poking fun man haha. I totally get ya man, these are just what I am most familiar with that's all. If you do try them yourself when you're confident & ready. I would start with 20g fresh or 2g dried. I would recommend a fresh tea, my first time trying these was a 26.6g fresh tea and I had a beautiful experience.
