Relationships are like laundry..
    #27088295 - 12/14/20 06:24 AM (3 years, 2 months ago)

You both have your own clothes; own styles, but at the end of the day you both place your dirty clothes into the hamper..

When the wife washes clothes she's using small amounts of soap which leaves the clothes smelling far from fresh. Over time the clothes begin to smell worse...

When the husband washes clothes he uses too much soap which leaves the clothes feeling gross and uncomfortable. Over time they collect a soap build up.

Throw kids into the mix and now they are stuck with funky uncomfortable clothes..

There will always be dirty clothes, but if you can come together and work out a balance. Find a respectful way to talk to your wife about the lack of soap and how you use too much soap.. if this can be done then everyone will be happy with fresh feeling and fresh smelling clothes.

have you considered using tide pods or some other brand of premeasured laundry detergent? (aka marriage counseling or other professional advice?) there's no shame in seeking such things, even if you think you're doing well - after all, even healthy people go see the doctor for routine checkups from time to time and making sure there's nothing sneaking up on them.

i mean, since we're doing a laundry comparison.

but yes, marriages and relationships are definitely about compromises and learning to let the small stuff slide - but definitely not the big stuff that bugs you. that stuff you gotta talk out. even if it seems like a small thing at first, small things can eventually fester and poison a relationship over months or even years if left to rot and breed new grudges.

its true, im better at doing it myself...

there are less arguments, no crying(well not that much crying) and i can eat/drink and trip whenever and wherever i want. True my laundry never gets done unless i do it but neither does the washing up or the vacuuming......and i rarely bitch at myself for stuff... tho i need to sell the boat and all my lazy ass has done recently is work and run shine.

wait what were we talking about? i had whiskey for dinner and might have missed a few salient points... damn im hungry..... hmmm whats for dinner?
