Oregon dunes & rainforest collections * 1
    #27090821 - 12/15/20 04:24 PM (3 years, 1 month ago)

Habitat:
Under a tree, (dead branches) near some large chanterelles. Bout 500 feet from the ocean ~10-20 ft elevation. Near a seaside estuary. West of some dunes in a boggy forest.

Gills:
Color is light/rusty brown, attached, smaller "gills or fins" near the margin.

Stem:
Length 2-3.5 inches. diameter .5-1 cm, color beigish white, texture somewhat coarse and stringy, hollow, no idea if it's considered thin/thick. I would say moderately thick concerning diameter?

Cap:
Diameter 1.5-3.5 inches, color caramel, texture i forget when they were fresh, conical, several like an inside-out umbrella.

Spore print color:
Pending.

Bruising:
No blue

Other information:
Scent of the mushroom unknown, anything else you think is important, large close-up pictures showing stem, cap and gills.

Have dozens of others need Id'd too from over a week of hunting the djnes and rainforests.

I added another picture, figured it was relevant. Thanks a ton. I have so many pics from my trip of so many different patches and several different LBM's from different environments- even some growing in the sand in the midst of massive dunes next to the dune grass.

Inocybe would be my guess. Couldn’t say what species though, there are a ton of them that all look similar.

Cortinarius.  The gills are too orange for Inocybe, and wrong cap texture for Agrocybe.
