I've got the 6qt duo gourmet, and I can only fit 3 Kerr quart jars in at one time. FYI for those who might have the same model.
Pudin, you put the jars in to the instant pot without lids or a trivet at the bottom? No issues with burning the grain? And so I understand, you start the pc with the vent open, then close the vent after 5min of it being at pressure?

This thread inspired me to give it a try yesterday.
I pc'd a 30oz container of yellow popcorn on high pressure for 45min. Water was about an inch above the corn. It probably could have gone for an hour, as it didn't feel as tender as when using a presto pc for 30min. Dried the corn on a towel on the counter until no moisture was observed on a paper towel, and filled 3qt jars aittle less than 2/3 full. Unmodified lids flipped over and cracked open a 1/4 turn before getting wrapped in foil and placed in the instant pot.
I filled the instant pot with water so that a little more than 1/3 of the jar was in the water. I do kind of like the idea of leaving the vent open and waiting for steam to come out, not for any other reason than most times, my instant pot won't pressurize on its own without me having to push down on the lid to get it to seal. I noticed yesterday that by leaving the vent open, my pressure indicator was already popped up, so I just had to close the vent and I was rocking.
Also, I misread the time for the grain, so I went 2.5 hours instead of the 3hrs recommended. Let the pressure naturally reduce and removed the jars.
Im not ready to inoculate anytime soon, so this may be a good thing to have the jars sit and see if any contam shows up. Foil is kept on, lids are still cracked open 1/4 turn. Hopefully 2.5hrs was good enough.

Used this tek several times now with popcorn, 2.5hrs on high pressure, followed by NR overnight, cause I'm not in a rush.
I typically let my jars sit for a week or so before nocking up, to see if any nasties grow, and I'm not in a rush. Haven't had an issue yet.
I do need to try this tek for agar, since I'd like to dip my toes in agar work.
