First time Grower Substrate Mix/ Growing Idea

Alright ya'll so i'm completely new to Mushroom growing but am a bit of a technical nerd when it comes down to projects. I've been doing some research and read through a few articles outlining some solid nutrient substrates i'm thinking of mixing. This substrate would be for Golden Teachers (Psilocybe cubensis). The mix would be 45% sawdust, 25% coffee grounds and 20% almond flower. The last 10% would be mushroom spawn(currently mycelium). I plan to keep humidity around 80-90% on a heated matt in a fairly dim lit room. (i've heard light, ive heard dark, i figure light just gives mushrooms more energy but i don't want to start fruiting early so i plan to compensate with heat until i'm ready for fruiting) As for casing i am going to use vermiculite and peat moss with 15% ground oyster shell to help balance the PH. I plan on it being in a fairly large container (105 quarts, large size but i feel is doable) and plan on also providing fresh air to the container every 4 days. This is my first mushroom grow so i'm a little meticulous but is there anything i should do/add to it?
On a side note i've also considered adding in other nutrients in the substrate before i transplant. But i think the Almond flour & coffee grounds should suffice if i don't. Would this be beneficial as i know it might increase the mycelium growth cycle but could create higher yielding flushes later on with nutrient charged mycelium. Thoughts? & thanks for any ideas/replies on this. Excited to see how this turns out once i have set up.

Welcome to the shroomery. Posting here seems to be the first step in the right direction. Scrap everything you said. forget sawdust, coffee grinds and almond flour
All you need is coir and verm is great to have around. Buy a pressure cooker and some ball jars. Locate the absolute cheapest grain in your area (anything more then $9 for 20#s is too much)
I would recommend fruiting in Filter patch bags for beginners or the shoe box method that is popular now. After you have a handfulof grows under your belt then you can play around.

Or you could just use coir, with colonized grains.
Don't use a heating mat. 12 hours of light.
Adventure is great and all, but I think you're looking at a 105 quart contaminated mess.

Lots of research is great to be doing. I think though a lot of newbs (myself included) over-complicate things at the beginning, which not only gives you more work but a higher chance of failure because it's harder to figure out where you went wrong.
I admire your ambition, but if you've never grown shrooms before, a 105qt tub might be a little too ambitious... you have to get enough clean spawn to go in it, and if just one jar/bag is bad it can ruin the whole grow. In this hobby it can be more difficult to show restraint, but it works out cheaper and easier if you can rein yourself in!
If I were starting again I'd do spore syringe to BRF cakes, and also drop some of the spores to agar plates so you can work towards doing grain while waiting on the BRF cakes colonising. BRF cakes are more resistant to contams but they take a while to colonise and fruit.
You're certainly free to experiment all you want, it's your time and money after all, but the teks made by the TCs here have been produced based on lots of knowledge and experience of what works and what doesn't.
Cubensis shrooms are quite happy with BRF or grains of some kind. Sawdust might be good for wood-loving mushrooms but not sure it's good for cubensis. Coffee grounds, well I've never tried them in a grow but I wonder how much their use is just down to the coffee addicts' having a large supply of waste material they'd like to use up!

yeah.. i do think i may be over complicating it too. i got to thinking, 105 quarts is a pretty large container and a contamination would be definitely more likely, also compacting substrate would be an issue too and would require more intervention and contamination possibility. I think your right with actually just going similar to the jars, i want to transplant some mycelium to 10 1lb agar plates and experiment in 12 quart sized containers and try different methods. But i also think you're right on the sawdust, i didn't know cubes aren't wood lovers so possibly like a 35% coco noir, 30% verm & 25% BRF and maybe like 3% calcium carbonate as a PH balancer. Idk i think im just gonna grow out the agar plates first and experiment in smaller quantity batches until i find the optimal mix. Im definitely interested in liquid cultures but i'd like to get atleast a few plates that i can store and play with to get a feel for it. I grew up on a green house so i'm somewhat familiar with plant botany but not mushrooms so much. Anyways, thanks ya'll for the input!
