A basic question about a steam autoclave

Hey everyone, I recently went ahead and bought a steam autoclave.
This kind: https://afrimedics.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Untitled-3-14-510x652.jpg
There's no weight or thermostat, so when I plug it in it heats up and the pressure builds up. when it gets up to 15psi I can either do nothing and let it build more pressure or disconnect it and let the pressure drop.
So how am I supposed to sterilize with it? Do I need to keep plugging it in and out when it hits the 15 psi mark? sounds ridiculous. I saw online that this model of autoclave is used worldwide in clinics so it's definitely good enough for the job. btw - I don't have the manual for it.
So, any ideas?

From the website:
"Operation: Step 1.Place the sterilizer on a flat surface. Step 2.Open the lid, take out the inner tank of sterilizer (you can see the heating electric tube),add water to the heating tube above 3.5L, you must add enough water in time to avoid burning the electric tube due to lacking of water. Step 3.Put those items need to sterilize into the sterilization room, you should keep gaps between the items. Do not block steam holes of the safety valve, air releasing valve, and finally cover the lid, tighten the screws. Step 4. After the normal operation of the equipment, when the measured temperature reaches for 105 degrees, open the air releasing valve to discharge cold air inside the sterilizer. When the air releasing valve start going out a little hot steam, close the air releasing valve. Step 5. When the steam pressure reaches 0.142-0.165MPa , the safety valve will start pressure relief work, in order to maintain a certain pressure. Step 6. After sterilization, unplug the power cord. 3 minutes later, open the air releasing valve, when the pressure gauges to zero, open the lid to discharge the remaining air."

Did you read the manual? It probably has a set pressure that it runs at. The picture shows that it has a pressure guage and two stop cocks, that's how you vent. Make sure that you vent for at least 10 mins.

It starts regulating it's own pressure at about 20psi. I'm sure you can find an actual manual online in PDF form somewhere.

so it would seem it totally relies on the safety relief valve to just dump excess pressure...wow. 20-23 psi it will vent....What a ride that will be.
PSsssssssssssssssssssssst.......

oh... I get it. I thought the safety valve is just for extreme cases where it's about to warp or explode.
so yeah, no way around getting it to go PSSSSSSSS occasionally. kinda sucks but as long as it does it job...
Thanks a lot for the help, good people.
