I plan to build DIY Laminator Flow Hood.
The problem is, that i have plans and instructions to build one based on US available parts. Like blower: DAYTON 1TDU2 Squirrel Cage Blower Fan, 1202 CFM, 1390 RPM In UK it cost nearly 600£ = $794...
I understand this blower is amazing and what not. But I am a hobbyist and average earning person, not a millionaire and I would prefer something I could buy in Europe.
Can someone please recommend a good European equivalent of DAYTON 1TDU2 Squirrel Cage Blower Fan, 1202 CFM, 1390 RPM?
My plans are based on this method: https://learn.freshcap.com/growing/keeping-it-clean-how-to-design-and-build-a-laminar-flow-hood/

Aye mate yull have to pull a blinder. Have a good chinwag with the HVAC bloke aboot how chuffed ye is for a blower. Maybe give him a tinkle on the blower before going over. See if he's got a tickety-boo blower that you don't have to splash out on.

Don't just follow plans, it helps if you understand how the filter and blower are matched fundamentally. Read this and you will be able to hand pick your blower no matter what country you're in or what brands are available.

Call the local HVAC repair places and ask them if they have any working squirrel cage blowers that you can use for a garage ventilation project.
Often can get a proper one for free or really cheap.
They will not have any info on cfm. You will just kinda have to know what you are looking at and pick something not too big, you don't need a 1/2hp huge blower off a 6 ton AC system...
But you can dial the blower down with strips of gorilla duct tape across the intake opening.
