Newbie GT Monotub - Cobweb? Healthy? Saveable?

Hi guys, I REALLY hate to do this because I know it’s beyond annoying for the experts in the room, but I just don’t have the knowledge base or experience to know where to go from here and my anxiety is killing me.
This is my second attempt at a monotub. My first one was from pasteurized horse manure, and had about 9 grams of dry weight yield after it was done (I felt pretty excited, but I’m sure that’s laughable for most). It got contaminated by a cobweb mold pretty early after my first pins, but I was able to keep it tamped down enough with peroxide to get spotty patches of GT that survived. I made a spore print of the generation for the next grow.
This time, I busted my tail trying to be as sterile as possible. I made a syringe of the print, and spawned 8 jars of brown rice. Only one ended up not contaminated, but I feel that was probably from non-sterile procedures for the print. Regardless, I used just the jar that had zero contams and did a verm and coir substrate which I pasteurized again before colonization.
I don’t have a picture, but after moving from colonizing to fruiting, I had a beautifully even spread of mycelium breaking through. But I noticed what I thought was another cobweb mold on some area and got nervous, so I hit the fuzzy areas with some peroxide and immediately introduced FAE. The pictures below are about 4 days later of light misting with water here and there and some additional FAE every so often.

I’m really beating myself up over here. Please tell me, have I mucked up? I’m beginning to fear I may have mistaken healthy hyphal knots for cobweb mold and destroyed my mycelium. Is this tub savable? I have zero back ups this time and really don’t want to have to pay for another spore syringe and start over.

I'm not one of the experts you speak of but the airy/wispy parts don't give me a lot of hope. If this is healthy mycelium then it's the first of its kind I've seen. Let's wait to see what an expert says :P
Although one suggestion I can give, for your next tub try to flatten the top layer out more. A smooth top surface will promote even growth

Ha, yeah! They’re sterile, so I used them during colonization to cover the FAE holes, then when I moved to fruiting I poked a bunch of holes and covered them with sterile barrier gauze. My idea for semi-filtered air. I used polyfil smooshed between two pieces of quilt batting on my first tub, but it took me like 2 hours to do that so I was trying to find a better way.

Believe it or not, it’s actually fairly flat! Maybe a touch of a tilt to it, but no real hills or valleys. Like I mentioned, it had a pretty even growth when I pulled it out of colonization! I used the back of a gloved hand to gently tamp down the casing layer, but I didn’t want to “compact” it too much.

How much of that surface did you hit with peroxide?

Just the areas that looked to have what I thought was the mold, so maybe 30-40% of the surface area.

Yeah you probably just nuked a decent mono tub. It looks dry as fuck on the surface. It will still give you some shrooms. Just mist it, keep it moist, don’t let it dry out again. Let the mist fall to the surface and don’t over think it. Cobweb mold is grey, grows faster than mycelium and everyone on there first grows think they have it.

I agree with the good Dr.
Here's a good reference for surface conditions: https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/23999053

Bummer, I was afraid of that. Well, as long as I can hopefully get SOME, I can just spore print the first little guy that pops up and start the process over again. Here’s to hoping!

Update: Thanks for the help guys! Thankfully with a little patience and TLC, some of my mushies survived the nuclear fallout! And, despite my screw up, this is already a more promising flush than at least 1/3 of my last tub’s *total*.

We shall live to grow another day!
