Help identifying ๐ I believe itโs a gym luteus any help would be accepted ๐

Hello I live on the border of mid:northern Wisconsin and Minnesota Just this morning I found this growing 6 feet up on the side of a tree along a path. ( a live tree)
Itโs gills are connected Bruising was already there at the bottom of stem as shown in picture Wide gillls Hereโs some good pics Hoping itโs a gym of sorts! Very much looks like a luteus or other Thanks so much guys! http://

I will say, the pictures of the gills are suspect but the side pictures scream sundried gymns but dont take my opinion as you should a trusted identification always wait for a TI to chime in

Kinda looks like a dried up Lactarius to me.
Itโs old enough that it wouldโve dropped spores and the spore droppings look pale.

Dont think that is a gym. I think the edges would curve inward a little

This is NOT Gymnopilus but something white spored in my opinion.
