How are my tubs looking? This is day 1 vs day 3.

Patience my dude, check back in a few days. The mycelium you've just put in to the sub has been jostled around, broken up, and spread out. It takes around 2-3 days for mycelium to recover after being shaken/broken up. Pretty normal growth for 3 days after spawning to sub. After about a week's time (maybe longer depending on incubation temp) you'll know how your tub is holding up.
Did you use the grain in your profile pic? Looks extremely bacterial. You might have strong mycelium and it may end up out-competing the bacteria you have present, but the bacteria may weaken the strength of your tub, leading to either a different, more hearty fungal or bacterial contaminant winning.
If you used multiple bacterial jars for the above tub, chances are your grow's going to fail. Not a huge deal, get another batch of grain rolling in the meantime if this tub doesn't end up working out.

I wouldn’t say the grains look “extremely bacterial.” There is some kind of stress causing metabolites which could be bacteria, but as long as the myc doesn’t/didn’t smell funky it was probably fine. Not to mention that the colonization looks normal for a few days, which it likely wouldn’t if it was fighting off a major infection.
OP don’t freak out over what this guy said. You might run into some troubles but at this point I think you’re most likely doing okay

I stand by my statement, the jar in OP's profile picture looks bacterial. Not being able to see firsthand or smell, I can't verify...but there are plenty of uncolonized grains and opaque exudate at the top of the grain that are indicative of an infection. Plus, we don't even know if he used the jar in his grow homie, I was giving my 2 cents on a possibly related topic.

IME, normal metabolites are translucent/yellow, that's not what I see at the top of the jar. Looks more opaque. Hopefully it didn't smell funky and that jar was fine. Not saying that the jar is boned. If it is? That's ok. Learn from mistakes.

Yeah, don't freak out. That's not my intention. Of course, grow it out and see what happens. I never told you to throw away your tub, I said

I hope your grow succeeds. If it doesn't, you have a concrete area to improve upon. Merely speaking from experience - if this grow kicks the bucket and you see contams, it's probably because of your spawn (if you even used that jar in the tub lol).
Best of luck with your grow SouthSpore.

Thanks for your input guys! I did use the grain in my first post. It didn't have a snell other than earthy mushroom niceness. I think the photo makes the grain look worse than it was. Fingers crossed. Hoping it works out.

I just know firsthand the feeling of dread you get as a first-time grower when someone tells you your grow is likely to fail, so I was trying to quash that before OP read your response. When I think of “extremely bacterial” grain jars, I’m thinking thick, creamy, goopy mycelium. What you see as opaque looks more to me like metabolites combined with grains and mycelium squished up against the jar.
Now I’m not guaranteeing OP a successful grow, the grains definitely could look healthier, but I think they’re a long way off from being completely fucked and I just wanted to make sure he knew that.
For sure though, if the grains weren’t fully colonized at the time of spawning, OP might be in pretty bad shape
