I guess if a rabbi blessed it, it would be more "kosher". But I'm pretty sure kosher just applies to the way an animal is slaughtered for food.

I mean, again, it depends on how old the person is you're talking to. Older Jews still see it as an illegal drug, like most of our parents or grandparents. Younger Jews and Rabbis recognize its medicinal purposes.
Here's a really good article on smoking and Jews. Marijuana isn't not kosher.

Sort of....it's a diet/lifestyle if you're committed to it. Yeah, there's lots of kosher rules about the consumption of animals (no pig, smooth lungs, split hoof, salting, etc), but there's also kosher practices in the home. Like you can't mix milk and meat, but eggs are considered neutral. Veggies are veggies and you can probably put dairy in a veggie fridge, but you need to have a separate fridge for meat only. The ultra orthodox have three sets of dishes and silverware (meat, milk, passover).
Koshering a kitchen for Passover means you have to get rid of "chametz", or stuff that isn't kosher for passover like leavened bread or beans. You can give your "chametz" away, sell it, or throw it out.
I sorta lived it for a while myself and it was hard...not gonna lie. I'm glad for the experience, though...made me more grateful for meats. You know, like you can't help but think something had to die for me to live, so thanks chicken for giving me your boob for sustenance.

Not gonna lie...my health took a steep downward tumble around Halloween (no 'rona), but they think they finally figured out what's wrong with me, so I've been looking forward to getting on the path to total wellness in 2021. Got a colonoscopy scheduled for February so I've been making a mixtape. Hope Dr. Gonzalez likes Barry White and Luther Vandross.
What's a good wine to bring to a colonoscopy? Franzia? I mean, it's always a good time for Franzia...
How about you? How's 2020 treating you?
