Mycelium growing through my casing, is this a problem?

Newbie here,
I am following the process from North Spore and their monotub setup.
Only growing at this one spot and not sure if I should be worried.
I mist the casing and my fresh air exchange is cracking the monotub and using a fan.

The top layer appears to be very soaked, how often do you mist and how long ago did you introduce fruiting conditions or when was the top layer added?

I mist about 5-6 times a day.
I added the top layer about a 7-8 days ago.

You see the dark brown spots on the caps? They are begging you to stop!

I wouldn't worry about the mycelium growing through the casing, but maybe give it some more FAE and have a look here

Thank you for the advice!!! Reducing my hydration input should solve my problems then unless I have created something I cannot undo.

No worries mate, btw. monotubs are supposed to be (mostly) "set and forget" after being dialed in (having the right amount of FAE, too much dries out the cake, too little hinders grow/leads to freak grow like long fragil stems) - Misting should be needed then only every couple a days

Those spots look like a bit of the casing material to me, not the type of spots that form from water droplets. Lighting in the picture isn't the best though so I'm not positive.
I do agree that things look too wet and OP is misting too much.
My casing layers on PE tubs colonize at least 70% before pinning (jiffy mix...mostly peat/verm with lime buffer) It's never been an issue

My houseplants are drying out to hell fast and I'm not even spraying those 5-6 times a day I did order 5 ultrasonic disc's tho the other day but I don't need it for mushrooms as mentioned. Mushrooms believe it or not actually grow best when they're not constantly saturated every day on specific times of the day, this is if anything just added stress for the colony to deal with regards to finding a balanced climate in its environment or at least more stabile whether phenomena where it's not raining lightly 5 times a day every single day
You the grower have control over the FAE rates. To little = no bueno, too much = no bueno. Visualize wild cubes growing somewhere in nature. What kind of environment do you see? Are humidities more constant and similar throughout the day or is humidity drastically alternating from hour to hour during the day up to 6 times a day? Look for the answer in the natural world and design your artificial environment so that it more or less mimics the natural environment instead, you'll find your answer there. gl

Great perspective to have! That missing piece of the puzzle is what I needed to hear as a first timer. Appreciate the time you all took to help me out.
