Some help at the end of the grow please

This is my first shoebox (6 qt) that has made it this far (Z-strain). The first two dried out I think. I am in a dry environment so I have been misting twice a day to keep conditions good. I have a grow tent that arrived from Amazon this week, so hopefully future grows will be in better conditions.
First, should I still be misting twice a day. I give just two squirts in the box and then two onto the lid before I close it up. I am obviously spraying the fruit bodies when I do this.
Second, I want to make some prints so I think I should be harvesting once they open. They will not all do that at the same time. Can I harvest individual mushrooms, or is it all or none? I have only grown gourmets. I harvest them by pulling and twisting the entire clump off the block. Same process here, correct? No cutting with a knife? Confirming that I can dry the caps after making the spore prints (BOD TEK)?
Third, I will trim off anything at the very base of the harvest that is dirty or looks like dry mycilium, but everything else can be dried as product?
Thank you and any other comments would be appreciated. I plan to rehydrate and try for a second flush. I think I am all set based on the reading I have done here, but I hate to fuck it up so close to the end!
Cheers.

u should mist a little bit less, this darker spots on the caps are a sing of too much humidity

Not bad at all for a first effort. I would harvest most before the vail breaks, and let a few nice looking ones go longer to take prints. Scissors are the best way to harvest IMO. I would send the grow tent back to Amazon for a refund. You don't need it. If it's so dry that it makes your skin uncomfortable in the winter then use a small humidifier, but don't run it all day. Good luck with the second flush.

Well, I did not get them before they opened.

The darkness on the caps is from too much water?
Here it is after harvest, lots of blue which seems good? 137 grams. I am not going to complain for the first harvest. I took a few caps to make prints from. I have the harvest drying in a food dehydrator at 95F.

I was going to leave it with the top off until tomorrow to dry out a little and then fill with water and try for a second flush?
Right track?

Up the temp on the dehydrator if you have the option. Moisture degrades psilocybin faster than anything else, so the faster you can dry them the better. I dry mine at 135F.
I also wouldn’t recommend letting it dry out if you have active pins, they’re likely to abort if they get too dry

I did about 3 hours at 95 and then 2 hours at 121 and that got them very dry. The thicker stems were still bendy an hour before I ended, but they were dry when I ended.
I put them in a ziplock. I plan to store them for about a month, so no need to freeze?

I'd dry them until they're cracker dry. Light and moisture degrade actives so as long as you store them in a cool, dark, dry place you'll maintain potency for months.

Keep them in the dehydrator for 24 hours. As I said, moisture degrades psilocybin faster than anything else so you just want to be sure it’s all out of there even if they’re snapping easily before then

Nice grow! looks like you picked them at the perfect time honestly.
They would be better off in the dehydrator at 160 for a month than they would in a ziplock still bendy.
You really cant hurt shrooms at the temps a regular dehydrator does. So don't worry just go till they are dry enough you could squeeze one into dust and you'll be glad you did a month from now.

I did put them back in last night and just took them out this evening. They did seem a little drier, but hard to tell. Future batches will get the full day in the dehydrator.
I can now store them in a cabinet for a couple months. No need to freeze, right?

Correct, freezing is not necessary.

I’d be 100% sure they were dry before I stored them. I’d rather dry them at full blast for a week than short them by 20 min. Any water left behind will result in some bendy piss scented shrooms that will be weaker than they could have been. That’s just me though, that last 20 mins might really be too much for some people.

If you feel like it, buy a pack of beef jerky, eat it, and put the desiccant packet into the bag with the shrooms. It may not be necessary for just a couple months of storage, but bags are not perfectly airtight and some air moisture can get inside and start to degrade your shrooms a bit. And yes, as has been said, freezing is not necessary
