Who successfully and consistently uses fooman tek?

So all year I’ve done the basic soak rinse dry PC. It takes too long to do that, I was thinking about switching over to foomans tek after debating on it for a few months, but never actually using it. I know some people actually load their jars in the PC with water to hydrate while it’s cooking, but that just doesn’t feel right for me personally.
Anyone care to raise their hands?

I use Fooman's tek, as well as 20hr cold water soaks, for my wbs. Both work very well.
The one thing I would say, though, is I dont let the wbs sit in the hot water for over 30 minutes, even though he says you can (too many burst grains). I personally pour the boiling water into the bucket, throw the lid on, and let it sit for 25-30 minutes and then rinse, strain, and bag/jar up fairly wet still and it always comes out perfect.
Been doing it this way for years now.

You are obviously successful even though it’s kinda wet when you jar them up then huh?
What is your process of rinsing them? I would put them in a bucket and in the shower, spray hot water in bucket then stir... then dump using a handheld colander thing to not drop WBS, and repeat. It seems to take forever but Idk what else to do.

Exactly, I like really cant think of any issues that come up when I load em somewhat wet still. As long as water doesnt drip out of the colander when you tilt it you should be good to jar it up.
Regarding rinsing, if I'm feeling motivated I add cold water to the bucket, stir, pour out floaties into my regular strainer and throw them away, and then strain the good wbs. If I'm feeling lazy I'll just pour enough cool water in the bucket to cool the wbs down, strain it including with the floaties n random crap, and then jar up, maybe picking out sticks if I see them.

Ok cool. How long does it normally take you to rinse? Am I going to hard rinsing for like 20minutes?

No, rinsing takes just a couple minutes. Just fill the bucket with cold water to cool, stir, pour out floaties, repeat filling with cold water n stirring, pour out floaties again, fill with cold water and then strain. Shouldn't take more than like 5 minutes at the most.

I do Fooman's as well, only been at this a couple months but I've done a few hundred jars and it's fast and works pretty well for me. Been struggling to get it just right though.
@Psicomvb do you normally get any burst grains with Foo's tek?
I usually get maybe 5-10% burst after 2 hour PC cycle which isn't a huge issue but it makes my jars harder to break up. I'm trying to improve my grain prep but I'm not sure where I'm going wrong or if it's just unavoidable.
I never soak for more than 20 minutes, I've tried dumping the WBS into simmering but not yet boiling water, drying for 1 hour+ with a fan, as well as keeping the PC at ~15-16 PSI rather than 16-18 PSI but still can't seem to avoid burst grains. Any tips?

I use his tek, I let the WBS dry longer. I rinse beforehand. I enjoy oats though.

Definitely more than one way to skin a cat. Cool seeing other folks rockin it hard.
@Lenz - I do see burst grains sometimes, same as you 5-10%, but it's not enough to make anything starchy or clumpy really. I prefer the 20hr soak, though, because it doesnt lead to any burst grains but hydrates them well. I PC 6 bags in a 23qt presto for 3 hours at 15-20psi.
