Hello, first time poster, long time lurker here in need of opinion.
So, took some spore prints from some nice big B+ caps last week to foil, stored into a minigrip bag that i closed.
Today, i remembered that i forgot to dry the prints, and im wondering if i should just toss em? Or open the bags and let them dry now.
You guys have any experience regarding situations like this? Are my spores still good, any harm done / very big risk of contam?

Idk how one would dry spore prints, typically you'd want to expose them to the least amount of air/contamination vectors as possible. Personally once the cap comes off ,the foil gets folded and bagged.
Ideally your going to be putting these to agar in the future to clean them up before going to grain anyway, so I wouldn't fret too much.

I've been printing them inside a shoebox.
After they are done printing --> take off glass and cap under it --> close the shoebox lid (not airtight) for couple of hours to evaporate left over moisture in the prints before storage.
So the "drying" is just pointless?

I print mine no-touch using foil on a tray and the caps on a cooling grid on top, covered. Since the spores drops from a small distance between tray and grid there's no condensation to dry later so I just fold. Even better is the fact that there's nothing touching the foil but spores.
I think someone posted a similar tek around here, maybe bod.
Before doing that I used to fold only 3 sides of the foil and leave one slightly open inside a box with silica gel for a few hours and fold later. I really don't like the sigh of folding foil with spores and water inside.
