Jedi MF vs Golden Teacher trip report & questions

About 2 months ago I had an amazing experience with 0.85g Jedi MF lemon tek. (I really dislike the taste) After about an hour it was almost overwhelming for me. Vision was like being in a funhouse, complete body bliss. I heard symphony music in my head and when I closed my eyes I had beautiful visions - I don't remember what it was now but I remember it being like visiting other worlds and the universe expanding to me. My mind wondered and I had lovely insightful thoughts, life just unfolded and made sense. Not to mention had probably the best sex of my life off and on all night with my bf.

I'm a small person and this was my second trip in my life. The one before that, no idea what kind it was but it was 1.2g dried and it was months before that. Felt mellow and relaxed. It was nothing like the Jedi.

Last weekend I did 1.5g golden teachers ground up in chocolate and drank orange juice with it. I thought the oj would make it similar to the lemon. I like the chocolate because I can't taste the shrooms. After about 40min I was really calm, and relaxed. I watched Big Mouth and it was probably funnier than it is without it. I definitely was very giggly. It was a pleasant night but I didn't have the blissed out mind blowing night I had once had.

Is this difference really from the lemon vs without lemon. Is it the difference between the Jedi's and the golden teacher? Do I have to use lemon to get that amazing experience I once had? - I hope not, it was really gross imo.

I'm also curious about the different strains because I plan on gifting some chocolates to a friend for Christmas. At the moment all I have dried is golden teacher. I currently have Ecuador and Hawaiian pinning, penis envy in the primordia stage, treasure coast spawned to bulk 11/27 colonizing, and just put Jedi's to bulk today. I'm assuming there's no way the Treasure coast or Jedi's will be ready for Christmas but is there one of these that would make for a better experience than the other? Should I give them some dried instead and suggest the lemon?

I haven't done lemon tek yet (planning to do so in about 3 weeks), but I would guess it is more likely the genetics of the specific strain that made it that more potent.

Try PE or APE if you want a strong experience. APE has not failed me even once!

Probably a combination of water extraction from the lemon tek and ROA. The chocolates will have a flatter "curve" due to slower absorption.

You don't specify here but what kind of grow was this? Genetics affect the potency. If it was MS they basically have random potency.

Edit: I also meant to say that a cube is a cube basically.

Jedi Mind Fuck is simply more potent than the other mushrooms.  It is a penis envy isolate or clone if I remember correctly, a friend is growing it and says great things about its strength.

It was not a tolerance issue, nor do I attribute it to lemon tek or any way of ingestion.  Jedi is simply stupid potent

besides PE, PEU, APE.. your experiences will vary with different varieties. for example, you could get some golden teachers that are the strongest mushrooms youve ever had, then get another batch of them that dont do anything at the same dose.

one variety is not guaranteed to be the strongest or potent, it all has to do with genetics and what strain was isolated while growing. with that said, if you want the highest chance of getting some potent mushrooms - any of the PE varieties are your best bet.

That time was Multispore. I now have some I just put to bulk from some really nice looking agar. I didn't know it was a strand of PE. Thanks for the info.

So is the affect I experienced possible with a higher dose and no lemon. (I'm really trying to avoid the lemon - it was so gross imo - but I'd really like to experience that again.

It most certainly is :sun: Mushrooms can be a bit unpredictable and sometimes an epic, strong trip doesn't carry the same qualities... but if you score crazy good penis envy genes they can be like straight up 5 times stronger than "average" cubes.  It's that way with any variety, there are potent clones and isolates of all different strains, but Penis Envy varieties are the cream of the crop in my opinion.

I can't say this as fact but I think that if you took an eighth of non-PE/non-JMF mushrooms you'd probably have an experience closer to what you experienced with those JMFs.

Thanks for the imput. Can't wait for my PE to flush - lots of primordia at the moment but I know they're supposed to be slow. I have some APE on agar I need to do T3 on. Are the albinos the same potency? I know I'm asking potato potATO but thought I'd ask.

The Lemon tek means that it is lighter on your stomach and the come up can be quicker.  The citric acid in the lemon juice helps your stomach acids to breakdown the psilcybin into psycilicin.  If you dont like the Lemon juice, try lime juice, it will have a very similar effect. You can also add some honey to it to make it sweeter.

If you drink oj, make sure that it is freshly pressed OJ and not the stuff that you buy in the supermarket.  That has been pasturised and a lot of the vit C has already degraded. Buy some oranges and squeeze them minutes before you take your dose.
