Multiple Blowers in a flowhood

I have a question. I have a few of these blowers, but they are not powerful enough to be used for a flow hood.

My question is would it be possible to mount 2 of each of these or some other combination of them onto a DIY flow hood build? I believe using 4 of these would put me up to the 500cfm area. Is it possible to be able to make a fully functional flow hood with multiple blower motors?

I had the EXACT same question about 2 weeks ago for m 36x72 hood. What size is your filter? Also JUST becasue Paul stamets said 100cfm at the flow hood does not mean 200 or even 300 is not just as clean or good. In fact I WAY WAY WAY over powered my blower and to lsow it down i just throw a piece of paper over my pre filter 150-180 cfm is the sweet spot 4 me since the condensate on the plates goes away faster. I have 2 hoods and this particular filter is rated to 500 FPM NOT CFM mybad or more i think too much faster itll be blowing spore print foil packages off the table n shit. and maybe disrupting the agar stream.
So the takeaway over power buy an anemometer Limit speed be having variable speed or limiting air intake

frthermore even though i did my calculation multiple times i still #@$!%^## it up. Some fans blow 600fcm but uder 1/10 of the restance you will use its sleed drops ff that why its sooooo important to study the technical data sheet of your fans
Like i will 4 you now So yes the more poerful one
your 4c is about perfect for a 12x12 hood. Dont forget if 100 is just right according to Paul Stamets Sama then 50 or 40 would not be unusable. You must tell us waht kind of filter

well i do not have a filter yet. Am just trying to find out if my blowers would be able to be used first. But if the 4c blower would work for a 12x12 that would be something i would be willing to try possibly. what is the lowest cfm that would work for a 12x12 hepa filter?

Yes should work perfect actually
CFM @ 0.700-In. SP 107 CFM @ 0.900-In. SP 95 CFM @ 1.000-In. SP 82
perfect for your c blower your filter would then flow 107 without a pre filter. 95 with a .2 wg pre filter
https://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-MAGNA-1000-SERIES-GLASFLOSS-12-X-12-X-11-5-FILTER-99-97-EFFICIENT-MB-FRAME/324245370046?hash=item4b7e87b4be:g:6UYAAOSwhHVfIsTj is a better choice complain about the bent faces when it arrives and get like 30-40 bucks back
WHAT!?!
12x12 is the sweet spot 4 that blower then you dont gotta fiddle faddle with 2 weirdly szed blowers ect unless you wanna become the worlds biggest mushroom man and do spawn bag inoculation then 12x12 is more than you need by like 1 inch

You cannot go very much smaller than the c if you want to have meaningful flow though the filter life. I would not change from that motor unless you were going more powerful
