The blur is probably some bacteria, hard to see with your pics but it looks like you have some myc growing in there too. Go with your gut and take some transfers from the nice looking edges. Soon before they all collide.

Would not touch those, try again and maybe only put one or two drops of ms solution on the plate. That’s what I’ve done and it’s working well so far

If that is almost all bacteria, you need to get an inoculation loop at put about 5% as much of an MS syringe on there. Looks like you dumped a bucket of bacterial water on there

Yeah if you ordered it from sporeworks they will send a replacement if you tell them you see bacteria under a microscope.

I know it sounds cliche' but I have had better experience using the ol adage "less is more" when working with agar. Did you store your plates upside down to alleviate the water from dripping into your agar? Condensation is not the end of the world. I have produced nice plates with condensation inside. Lastly, don't discredit your "level". Science is a constant cycle of trial and error. If you don't want to mess up, you're not going to learn as fast. I bomb much more than exceed. I am a novice, but mama didn't raise a quitter! HA

I never have much luck going from ms syringe to agar. I used Bodhi's beginner technique of just fruiting pf tek jars covered by a sandwich bag and then clone the fruits to agar. Then keep transferring agar to agar. Every time I put wedges in grain I make about four more plates. It's much better to have too many clean looking plates than none.
