I vote bottom. Clip those top and flip it over. Maybe not flip it over..... 🤷♂️ it’s looking good on the bottom for the conditions it has

Yea the bottom ones looked quite good for being squished at the bottom. I'm thinking maybe for my second flush ill flip it over and try fruit the other side..or maybe even try fruit it on its side?? Lol I dunno

Correct me if I'm wrong but the sub puts up fruits where conditions are most viable meaning you probably didn't have your shoebox dialed in and the sub dried on the top so it pinned on the bottom instead meaning if you flip it over its just going to pin on the bottom again until you get your surface conditions right. Munchs shoebox method I had the same thing happen with my shoeboxes i left out in the open, barely any top fruits but side and bottom fruit heavy I don't mind but its a pain when your doing lots of tubs to deal with flipping and harvesting bottom and side fruits so work on dialing in those conditions, it takes time! Side pins are ok bottom pins just make ur mush look like crap.
I found a quote so here you go

Edit: its amazing the stuff u can find when you learn to properly use the search post function

When I get a sub that does this that I want to keep going I set it on a dish rack in some sort of fruiting chamber so it doesn't ruin the fruits.
Edit: a decent writeup to surface conditions https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/23999053

Thanks alot for the info that makes alot of sense. Things seemed to be going good until I removed the shoebox lids and put them in a big tote. I noticed less condensation on the walls of the big tote. So they be grew where the moisture was..I now see i have alot of dialing in to do! Thanks again, that's the response I needed.
Btw I tried 4g of these bad boys last night and had an amazing trip!

Generally it's caused by conditions but it can sometimes also be genetic. I have a TC culture I'm going to chuck because it usually wants to bottom pin a shit ton, which I almost never have with other varieties or even the other TC culture from the same print.
Take clones from the ones on the top that grew in the conditions provided, as those are what you want to propagate.
That being said, I have flipped one of those TC subs with a good amount of success. It's not unheard of. But ideally you want them to grow where intended. Try it without a liner so you can see how well you mixed/packed your sub next time. You don't want to pack the shit out of it but you do want to press it down a bit, especially the edges and corners.

Thanks for the tips! I did take a couple clones from my favorite top fruits. I have 4 other shoeboxes colonizing that I can experiment with and will be taking more clones from hopefully. So far for pe uncut I've only had 2 small blobs which is a relief.
