Is it time to move?? (first crack at agar)

Hey all. This is my first crack at agar. (LME) Is it time to transfer or wait? Multi spore drop with loop. 2 plates have some type of contam, rest are clean. (visually) Chuck the contam plate or can cut away from it? All inoculated on 11/27 kept at approx 22c (72f)
Thanks for looking.

Welcome to the shroomery Are those your only 3 plates? When going from spores I like to streak at least 10 plates. You have some growth that is potentially good to transfer. What does 10 o'clock look like on that first plate? I don't personally see any ideal growth.

I’ve never used a loop but at first glance that all looks a lot more like mold than mycelium

I hate to tell you, my good man, but I do not see any good growth here. I did my first crack at agar a month or so ago and had this exact turn out. I borrowed an inoculation loop from my doctor's office, did a tiny scrape and then dabbed it on my agar. Made a world of difference. I don't exactly know the science, but it seems like the more spores that get to the agar the higher chance of contam. Set these aside and do another batch. I used the oven method last time and out of 5 plates only one got contam. PM me if you need any advice.

I made my loop with kanthal. Flamed it, cooled it in the plate grabbed spores and zigg zagged. Next batch ill use a scalpel and just drop a bit in the center.

Thanks for the welcome. Ill work on my cleanliness as well. But this is good as I can get in this lighting. I will do 10 more tomorrow and drop the food coloring.
Thanks for looking|!
First one is what you requested and another one just for fun. Its too whispy for mycelium ?

I don't see the mold that people are talking about, just tomentoes mycelium -- which is completely normal for spore syringes. Take a couple slices from the best growth you can find and keep going until you get uniform growth.

You can play with the tomentose patter growth and it's either mold or cubes. I suppose you've not streaked the plates in a very ordered manner and so you have scattered growth. I would try looking up how to streak a plate and do a full stack.
