Is this normal? Is this agar good or bad?

Good, mycelium left for too long will start to fruit.

Invirto pins are always a good sign of good agar and cultures! :awebig:

And its fruiting because the clean mycelium colonized the agar to 100%.

Take a piece of tissue from the fruit while in your SAB/front of flow hood and transfer it to new agar.

A good culture will fruit 7 to 10 days after it fully colonizes a plate. I personally refrigerate plates once they are colonized to prevent this as I run large batches of 75 at a time. I have a dedicated refrigerator for this. Definitely clone that fruit but don't attempt to use that culture for spawn, it will be sluggish.

I didn't have agar on hand so I cloned to two LC jars.
I hope that is an ok alternative. Also, I don't like doing agar to grain, I have much better results using LC to grain.

I should mention, this agar was a clone from a large fruit.
