How long to ‘defrost’ frozen shrooms before grinding them and putting them in capsules?

Hi all, I have some mushrooms that were harvested about 7 months ago, dehydrated and frozen (in a standard fridge freezer compartment). I'd like to use them for microdosing so am planning to defrost them, grind them up and put them in capsules. Does anyone know how long I should let them defrost first, please? Thanks.

If they're completely dry then it shouldn't even be necessary to defrost them. Just grind and cap.

Thanks so much for that. Actually they don't seem that much different to their 'unfrozen' state even when they come straight out of the freezer. Thanks again.

Don't put shrooms in the freezer. There's absolutely no point to it. Cold stuff forms condensation. Let them come to room temperature in the bag before opening it otherwise they'll pull moisture from the air.

Okay, good tip, thanks very much for that. I was just about to start but I'll postpone it and let them come to room temp first. Cheers.
