Wasn’t the potency on yeti on the weak side?

It’s weird that they seem to have solid flushes forever, like there’s something about them more efficient at using nutrients or something.

My yeti spore plate is crazy tomentose.

Anyway...

Aka. Is yours airtight around the filter seal? Mine has a little air leaking, but so far no contams, although it  has been just a couple days. Maybe I beed to tighten her up.

You mean like along the edges?

I havent had time to really mess with it yet, just unpacked it and turned it on for a minute to flame test.

I’m gonna leave a plate in front of it tomorrow to make sure it’s working and then once that’s cleared it’s gonna be on.

Nice aka.. stoked for ya.

Doing some clone hunting with a couple ms PE 16qt tubs... took a bunch of clones off this guy

This guy is coming in nicely for ms

Pea+ clone picking up speed.. should be able to put the glc to grains in ~10 days

Thought up a way to get clean prints to the bottom of a jar.. line the inside of a jar with foil (Just the sides and top rim so that the bottom Is exposed)  then take a longish skinny screw and screw it into the stem butt.. then put the cap with screw inside the jar so that the screw head sits on the bottom and the cap rests against the foil.  Then after the spores drop, just flip the jar upside down and hold the foil lip and pull the jar off leaving the cap and foil behind

.

I’m going to put a nut or something similar that’s magnetic and put one of my adjustable airflow lids with SHIP.. I’ll use a magnet to move the nut around from outside the jar to scrape the spores into the water

I’m going to pc the foiled jar with lid and the screw and nut inside an oven bag.. just slip the cap in after the bag cools from the Pc through a little slit in the bag.  Should work like gang busters and give me clean spores that I can go straight to grain with to stabilize pea+ (and hopefully others) quickly.  I’m excited

Shoutout goes to logicalchaos for refreshing my memory about printing to jars

Just harvested my first clone tubs. GT.

Evenness of the growth is nice but the fruits were all a bit small, maybe I chose a bad clone.

Bit bummed I'm struggling to get over 1500g wet from my first flush with 5 myco quarts though. Going to keep clone hunting and working on conditions/spawn but getting to 2000-2500g seems lightyears away for me right now. Wouldn't be a problem if I had more space but I'm basically maxed out at 24 tubs.

Grab a couple PE clones, a decent one of those will do the trick. I’m usually happy as long as I hit 300 per quart, but I ran 4 PE clones and all put out 400-500 first flush. Shit even the two ms shoeboxes I took the clones from were both 350.

Thanks for the reply Aka. Will APE do the trick as well? Don’t have any PE spores but I have a bunch of APE plates on T4 that I think I’m going to put to grain now or after one more transfer. 400 per quart first flush sounds killer...

I’ve only run ape once but it doesn’t seem to produce nearly as much as PE does. I’ve only seen maybe 3-4 ape canopy shots since I’ve been here.

Even with normal size flushes you should still get about the same yield in the end, it just takes longer to let the tub flush. The PE shoebox I had that put out 500g first flush was dead afterward, second flush was like 2 dry grams.

Couple of KSSS UFO clones I've been trying to work with. The flushes seem to be getting a little better look at that pinset on the right tub! The other one would have been just as nice but I realized I cased it to deep after It started colonizing -_-

What’s up sock! Yep courtesy of the tribe.

Those ufo tubs look way better than my shoeboxes did, I didn’t see fruits bigger than a pea until second flush.

I found an ancient bag of brf a couple weeks ago and made some cakes. This is a perfect visual for myc reacting to bacteria. You can actually see the brf looks darker where it’s bacterial too.

Ive noticed the opposite  maybe it's the ms crapshoot maybe pe is more picky about conditions, probably a bit of both
