Some sort of hot plate for pressure cooking
    #27070713 - 12/03/20 08:34 PM (3 years, 1 month ago)

So I moved to a new house, after many successful grows, and I now have to fuck around. For a little bit I’ll have family (who are my age) living in the same house. I live downstairs, then upstairs where the stove is. They’re not straight edges at all, I even gave one mushrooms... but I have to use the stove to PC, and I’d rather not do it in front of them.

I worry about using a hot plate, unless it was a nice one. Any suggestions guys??

Get an electric all American! They are pricey but worth it!

I wish I had a choice on whether or not to do this man, I have too and I know what you’re saying. I don’t feel comfortable with propane down here so I’d like an electric one that would have enough watts. I wonder what watts I’m looking to have though?

How big is your PC?  The All American X series use a 1650w heating element, but you can probably get by with less.  I wouldn't worry about getting a high end one if this is a temporary thing.  Something like this should be more than adequate at ~$40, but you can probably get by with a 1200-1400w one if the budget is tight.

Why is that Cadco kind of pricey? I’ve found other ones that are 1500 watts and cheaper then 120$. Can find solid looking ones for 40$. I only ask bc Im about to buy something.

They are heavy duty. So when you throw a AA full of bags on it the burner doesn't bend. Also they seem to come up to temp quicker and have a better thermostat in my opinion than the cheeper ones. Buy quality and only buy once I say.
