8 Individually Controlled Repeat Cycle Timers in one Strip... for $80??

So I may have come across something incredible...
I was searching for a programmable power strip I could individually control each outlet to at least minute intervals. The issue I found with these is they connect to wifi, and if my wifi goes out the programmed schedules are lost until it reconnects to wifi.
Of course, there are the individual repeat cycle timers for about $25. But they control only one outlet. I wanted something with more outlets so I have the option to control several devices, not just one. I wanted one power strip I could control my lighting, a humidifier (or two), and a fan (or several) if needed. It gives me more freedom moving forward to control whatever I want.
After struggling to find something that would work, I came across this unit: Controllable 8 Outlet
The device has an internal wifi network which enables you to program each outlet through an app, and the outlets are automatically turned on and off once programmed without the need to be connected to the app or any external wifi network, solving the issue the other smart power strips I found have.
The app gives you the ability to set custom on/off schedules, such as for 12/12 lighting, and also program on-off intervals down to the decisecond. You could turn a light, or a fan, on for 1 second and off for 30 hours if you so choose. This would give me the ability to schedule both my lighting and my humidifiers/fans to use for my greenhouse. For basically the cost of 3 repeat cycle timers, you get 8 of them and have the luxury of using a convenient app to program each outlet.
The only issue I see is it might not have surge protection. I am not an electrician so I do not even know what that is or if it is needed, or if there are ways to add that to the unit with an outlet adaptation or something. It also may not be well-suited for a higher humidity environment.
For $80 seems like a great deal. And there is even a used option for $40 that simply has some slight cosmetic damage. So, what do you guys think about this unit to control several devices for grow set up?

Bro just flip a switch at night and in the morning. Really no need for something like this. 12/12 is ideal, but the mushrooms don't give a fuck if it's 13/11 or 9/14.
Spend $80 on agar if you have yet to start there.

Seems ok if you need 8, but they have 2 packs for $25.

This would not just be for lighting it would be for humidifiers and fans as well. Rather than spending $50 on two repeat cycle timers, and then more on a lighting timer, why not spend about that for this outlet which provides 8 controllable outlets that have better timing variability than anything I have seen. Plus there is used one for $40 so it would be cheaper than buying repeat cycle timers and lighting timers.
I also like having the ability/option to expand. I could eventually have 8 devices be able to be fine-tuned to exactly what timing settings work.

You should not be using fans or humidifiers to grow shrooms.

I saw some pictures over in a pans thread that make me think different.

You're going to have a bad time if you avoid agar and use pre made bags or go syringe to grain.
Make a SAB and study agar. You will be so happy you did. I wasted a good year on that bullshit.

I plan on getting into agar and building flow hood. Initially used MSS on grain to get a harvest and plan on using the initial grow to clone to agar and no longer need spore syringes. Other than agar simply being great, I love lab work and find enjoyment out of it So it is a win win.

Did the syringe to grain already happen and work?

If by work you mean germinate and start to colonize yes. If by work you mean have successful flush, TBD
There were two bags that did not germinate or begin colonizing yet. However, they were inoculated with a syringe that I also used on three cakes which also did not germinate or show growth yet. I accidentally fucked up this syringe by heating the plastic briefly and I believe this might be the issue. Or the syringe was a bust, which is also possible.
The two bags and 3 jars I used the other syringe on, however, are showing fantastic growth.

Inoculated 11/15 first signs of growth 11/20 for both bags and jars. Shook one bag 11/29 and the other 11/30.

Pretty happy with how fast the bags recovered after shaking.
It is interesting, I inoculated the jars in 5 points, four around the side and one in the middle. I notice one jar has much more tomentose like growth. Like almost no rhizo growth. The other two have much more rhizo growth. But, even within each jar there are differences between the inoculation points in terms of rhizo/tomentose, and how fast it is spreading.
My previous grow was around 24 jars. A lot of them had pinning invitro. I am curious if I note where in the jars I have now has the most rhizo growth, and then upon colonization, if I find any invitro pinning in the area of the rhizo growth, I wonder what cloning that pin would result in? Perhaps a super fast colonizing, fast fruiting mushy? Or maybe a fast colonizing fast fruiting mushy that does not fruit well overall. The answer is probably.... who tf knows hahaha.
I am tempted to think it would not work as I intend or hope, but regardless am curious and once I have a flowhood and agar materials I am going to do lots of experiments so we will see

I use two fans in my grow room. Granted they run all the time but lights can be a bitch to remember to turn on and off. Towards the end I was just leaving them on but a timer is nice, humidifier is pretty unnecessary for cubes at least. I know nothing of pans but the best option always is KeepItSimpleStupid. And learn agar thats where the magic happens, according to pretty much anyone who cults.
