@TCO - The folds in the cap margin are pretty neat.  I got this print a couple of years ago in a marketplace giveaway.  I believe that member got them directly from the captain.  I'll try to print a few here on the next flush; feel free to pester.

The slow genetics I have is from Captain - it grows slowly, looks different but very potent.

Hey guys, what’s a rough estimate I should be expecting for germination of spores on agar? TIA!

A few of the bell shaped ones are starting to curl a bit but still overall looking good. Not sure what's with the strange pattern developing on some of them. Almost looks like seeing the gills through the top. Getting it on some of the other pheno as well but not like on these. Caps on that second tub are getting really big. Think I like the look of that better than the bell shaped ones TBH.

Shouldn't be much longer till these are ready to harvest. Caps are getting noticeably darker. Have yet to see any drop spores though.

Next run almost ready for S2B 8 days since inoculation and shaken on day 5. 6 jars of Semp from the culture that produced the Bell caps and 2 new jars of Nats also looking good so far.

The caps are hygrophanous which means they can become translucent when hydrated. I think it’s beautiful. Amazing job with these man. They are so cool.

Where did you get the spores for these? Just wondering if they are different to what we are all growing or a diverging pheno?

Believe me If I get good prints from these they will go out. Really looking forward to see how the 6 jars do once spawned.

Those look crazy

My first reaction was,  are those really Subtrops? :what:

It’s like a completely different pheno. Like the different between PE and GT, first time seeing this with subtrops

So the secret to storing these prints is to leave it in a syringe making jar and forget about it in the basement for 15 years and a few days shy of 3 months. Melgo will be pleased to hear we have ignition of the original genetics. About 96% sure anyways.
I finished making a syringe really not expecting anything. Put that to a PF jar and 4 days later I'm seeing growth in several spots. Looks really good and I'm pretty sure it's not a mold.
So I just checked the rest of the solution and it has a few spore clumps germinating as well.
Making more syringes now lol. It's 4 prints so there's plenty.

I'm hoping to pour more agar tonight so I can test on that too, but I'm feeling pretty good about gambling a few more syringes.
Hopefully I can post pics of clean mycelium in a few more days.
Just what I need. More shit to do lol.

I'm no expert but......you sure these ain't zapotecorum? Did you isolate the genetics yourself? If so, they really are radically different from the o.g genetics. Crazy if you have

Edit: I'm thinking these are the xico ones? Very similar to the zapos

Sick grow tho
