Funny to hear someone say these are speedy. I spawned 2 tubs of Machine Elf Cubes same day and both of them already have their first flush dried. These seem to have at LEAST another 2 weeks on that first tub

We started damn near the same time, and you are a solid 10 days if not longer of development ahead of me.  I didn't mean speedy in comparison to cubes or pans, but just speedy in comparison to my current run haha.

I'm incubating at 76F.  The only thing is they are seeing very little fae.  Next run I'll crank that and see what develops.

They really like the FAE. I flipped the lids to my shoeboxes and the pins really took off. I think they like to be really wet then dry out continually. My room sits at 70 because any warmer and my DWC Weed buckets get root rot, so I'm even much cooler than you. Would love to crank the thermostat up to 80 in there and try out what Baba Yaga is doing with the warmer temps, Oh well. I use the purple handled sterelite shoeboxes as they are really great for dialing in FAE without having to modify them

I'm kind of surprised at the shorter turnaround once fruiting now a days. The original genetics were about the same speed/s as today, but the fruiting period was immensely long with tons of flushes. I had cookie jars last 18 months or better with the same amount of flushes. Now it seems like the whole thing is over in 6 months.

Well this is my first run but it's most likely due to how most of us work. We tend to clone for the fastest fruits since it's really hard to clone for potency. So over time it makes sense that fruiting times would be quicker.

It's been passed around a lot in 15 years too.
It went from Workman to me to Oli.. then everywhere lol.

Plus shortly before that Elektrolurch grew his and released some cultures. I believe his were not from the same collection as Workmans. I know where Workman got his. A gene bank in Germany. There's a link buried here somewhere.
I could be wrong, but I think Elektrolurchs were a wild find. At any rate, there's likely some of those on the mix and I'm pretty sure they're not the same collection. Something is telling me Prankster was working Elektrolurchs and I've worked with Prankster prints in the past. lol.. ?

Shit.
Okay then..

It's kind of cool to see à lot of the species from the first internet shroom boom making a come back after dropping off the map. And what those that didn't have become.
Makes ya feel kinda old though.

They are getting used to us and preparing to become co-existential. Pretty fast adaptation if you ask me.

Of course, they feel that "shroomies are good," grow them, and make giveaways sharing spores all over the world. 😄
Mushrooms know very well what cooperation and coworking are (mycorrhizae) for many millions of years. Shrooms know what friendship is and how to help each other.
My shrooms have gotten so used to me that I talk to them, asking them to produce more tryptamines for me, and it seems to work.
I've noticed that pans have become more indoor-friendly too. Many of them grow freely in a monotub, shoebox, even without manure.
I'm sure they know what's going on and are helping us become more domesticated, indoor-friendly, and potent. 🍄
Thus, awaiting semps being ready in 2 month soon.

So I cut the 3 that looked like they were aborting and the stems bruised almost Black where I cut them. They were very heavy for their size.

From reading these get more potent as they age. The aborts dried out to .25 gram. With them being this immature, would I even feel .25g?

Starting to notice a difference between the tent and the water tub as well. The 2 shoeboxes in the water tub seem to be growing taller. I can't count the shoebox that's farthest along as it comes from a different spore plate than the other 3. The 1 in the tent from the same plate as the 2 in the water tub do seem to be shorter and fatter though. 2nd pic is in tent 3rd and 4th in Water tub with bubbler. The 1 in the tent was the last to pin though so it is a bit behind. Tent exhaust fan runs 2 minutes every 20 and I use an elitech Humidity controller ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08C71RLF9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) set to 95%RH and allowing to drop 15% before coming back on. The room itself usually sits about 30-40% RH due to mini-split constantly running to keep the room cool from the HPS light.

The extremely bell shaped caps and veil remnants are nothing I have seen so far but I haven't read through a lot of the info on here either, mind you.

This is a very cool pheno, absolutely clone worthy

These look kindof like healthy caerulescens, except much more abundant. The cap development is amazing.

Any chance you have a CO2 meter around? Your setup seems rich in FAE, so I'm spitballing as to why such chonkers.

Great work

Thanks everyone.

Wish I could take credit for doing something special. Print came from Rosco. I made 2 spore plates from the print. The tub in question is made from 1 of the the 2 actual spore plates since they were both clean. It's not even from clone, it's MS.

I followed Rosco's recommendation and used pasteurized coir, spawned 3:1 and peat/verm/lime for casing.

The tent setup I described in previous post. I do have 3 PC fans in the top of the tent that run constantly for circulation. I have been misting 2-3 times per day. I mist this tub first and by the time I finish misting the other 3 tubs these are dry already, they soak it up fast.

Hopefully they keep looking like this. Based on other peoples time from S2B to Harvest I figure these still have at least 2 more weeks. They are at 27 days now spawned 10/24.

Oh I don't have a CO2 meter but I do have a CO2 Controller that is plugged in and set for 1000PPM for when I supplement the weed grow. Nothing is currently connected to it but it's always trying to add CO2 so room is well below 1000ppm and the tent exhausts outside.

What a pleasure I feel looking at that tube.

Is there any chance them being of another species.
Someone please get the Rockefeller guy involved in this. With all respect actually.

Only genetics I had previously are  Cubes and Nats. These definitely neither of them.

You would have to ask Rosco if there was any way print got mixed up but Rosco has pretty good rep.
