Two clones, among the four I took from the only few fruits I had.(interior flesh from stem, directly put on agar using flame-heated tweezers)
Tried best to capture a macro but this is what the phone camera sees, not crispy.
Agar media is very nutrient-deficient, not sure about sugar content percentage but definitely less than %0.2 (Squeezed two grapes into 450ml agar, while boiling. Lol had no dextrose/grainwater/lme at home @ the moment)

Weird, and interesting. I wonder what happens if you clone the white ones, stable pheno or no?

Depends on what you mean by stable. It takes generations to stabilize a lineage, even with cube lines that have been mass produced for decades

This is my first run of semps in a fahtloc it’s been 3 weeks since they pinned and they still aren’t looking like they are producing spores man these are slow.

WOOT First Pin. May be small but it's a start. S2B 10/24 This came from my second spore plate. First Tub spawned 10/22 still waiting. The Mycelium looks different between the 2 as well.

Don't know if the incubation is doing anything in terms of speeding things up but will keep doing it.

Side-by-side day 28, mine on the left. 17 & 16 days since cased. Might be hard to see in the pic but the melgo box is full of pins, they're just maturing a bit slower. I bet they'll be stronger in the end thanks to the extra time.

Putting Xico to grain today! Took a few xfers to plates I plan to forget about for a while, see if I can snag any easy plins.

Please forgive my ignorance, but what is Xico? Is it another form of semps? Or something different all together?

Pretty sure it is a region of Mexico where the a new wild sample of Subtropicalis was found. Still a semp, just a new source from the wild. Please correct me if I have bad info.
