Well, three weeks is quick comparing to four months. Even comparing it with two months of waiting it's still fast!
Interestingly though, I had pins in one month as well as two, three and four, all with the same culture. The quicker it pins though, the better is pinset, the longer grows are usually ugly and sparse.
I have a 100% dry verm run fruiting now, as well as weird shoebox that's fruiting outside. Well, outside the lining (idk how it got there, I guess micro punctures), but still, the pins are  technically based on the bare bottom of the shoebox, bathing in condensation.

@RoscoeReturns mate, thank you for taking the time to write down your observations! It's fascinating.

And also, I'm god damn jealous of your fruits! That first photo is probably one the best looking indoor Semp's we've seen :yesnod: They look like SirPsycho outdoor ones!

As far as MS and clones, for me they perform the same. The Semp shoebox in my signature is from a clone.

So I’ll continue with my confusing mess. I used that same LC I mentioned earlier to knock up four half pints of wheat. Each jar went to a bag of straw/manure/verm substrate. Once 100% colonized, each bag was opened and cased. One bag was cased with my usual 50:50 peat:verm mix, the other three with peat:verm:sand. One of the sand cased bags went into my gourmet tent. It’s growing some interesting fruits with thick fat stipes.

The other three went into an EZ dial as I usually use. The two sand cased bags threw up a couple of pins early, but they quickly aborted. The 50:50 cased bag took longer but started to produce nicely. Shortly after the pins came up, they too started blacken and abort.

Both of the sand bags looked kind of dead. Just a pin here and there.

I moved one of them into my gourmet tent and a couple of days later it started pushing out fat pins like the first one.

I’ve moved them all into the tent now to see what happens. I think It may be too hot in my tubs upstairs. As much as they seem to like to grow with little FAE, I was surprised how they like the tent. The caps are a bit small and curling, could use some more humidity I guess. We’ll see where this goes.

Hi everybody I wanted to share my amazing experience

I ate 10 grams fresh and also about 1.2 grams dried. I won’t go too much into the details but I experienced full ego death. It was agonizing, horrific and incredible. I died a thousand times. It was the absolute pinnacle of the psychedelic experience, so much deeper than I’ve ever been.

Thank you all so much for all of your work. It’s a service to humanity.

10 fresh plus 1.2 dried?? that's a very committed hit. makes my spine shiver to think about it.

welcome back, safe and sound..

could you just elaborate a bit how you would compare the "language" of visuals? as some have reported that they find there to be a discernable difference compared to cubensis.

Mate, I can still taste DMT strong on my lips. My body is absolutely purging it out of me. I feel like a venomous toad.

The language of the visuals yes. When I came to I was explaining to my wife about the crescendo of death. It’s like a dying snake, a striking Asp, a thorny mantis shivering its final twitch. I saw this and experienced this over and over and each time the goddess looked deep into my soul meeting my gaze and told me you don’t need to question my power.

The clever thing my missus is, she told me that there is an Egyptian God Apep who is represented by a large snake.

The snake. The coiling orange, yellow, red. What the fuck. I know this snake.

The visuals were very much DMT like, and simultaneously real and symbolic. Forget about the wavy gravy of Cubes and Nats.

There’s something incredible about getting snuffed out and reigniting again. Literal non existence and then rebuilding. I am struck by the fact that reality as we know it is just a burning flame that desires to consume itself. We exist to experience this horrific and gorgeous moment. Like when a flame stops burning and becomes a wisp of smoke.

Sorry I think this is more than you asked for but the visuals are indecipherable from the total experience. To put it simply, think DMT x100 or 1000 or I don’t even know lol.

First time with Subtrop and got a few thumbnails sized T3 cultures now. Going to poke it to LC on the weekend.

This is 1.5% agar with 1% LME. Looking good, right?

Telomere, that's is exactly what i asked for. And it sounds truly amazing and far from what we know and hear from expΓ©riences with cubensis at such "low" doses.
fascinating indeed! thanks for sharing

Last night, I was thinking about one "quick" experiment, that we could pretty much all do:

  • inoculate a jar of your grain of your choice with Semp mycelium (grain only, no straw, no coir, nothing but grain).
  • Wait for it to fully colonize.
  • Case it with pasteurized cactus soil or something close to it.
  • Place in: Martha, JCM chamber, water tub, maybe SirPsycho domes, etc.
  • Wait for pins to appear, write down how long it takes.

I have a bastard version of a JCM chamber atm. I'm trying to dial it in, so far not great because fruits aren't developing very well. But pinning is constant. And with Semp: again 9 days after casing I get pins. Doesn't matter the print so far.

Doing so, we get down to the "minimum" - I think.

In my old automated FC, I got amazing results such as this (old photos - wheat cased with pasteurized cactus soil):

It's fairly quick because your jar will be colonized in 20 days, cased and maybe 9 days later: pins - who knows?

Yeah, that's a good idea. I'm in.
just transferred quite a few cloned cultures today just to make sure they are clean. when i will be having semperviva spawn also the temperatures will be more favourable - hopefully..

My first success with semps! I tried for over a year with a vendor syringe I could not clean up but received a print from a kind member here and very excited to see a flush.

Ive enjoyed seeing the timelines folks are providing so here are mine:

day 0: 1qt spawn to CV (bucket prep, slightly below FC) 1:2, placed in water tub
day 7: cased with pasteurized cactus soil, just enough to cover surface
day 15: pins present
day 21: moved from water tub, dub-tubbed and placed on shelf - misted occasionally because I 2nd guessed myself moving them out of the water tub but space was getting tight there
day 29 (today): spores present on earliest to pin - expect the other half to show spores in the next day or so

Thank you 0t0l for the spores and to everyone for the valuable info provided on this forum, special callout to Melgo and Moopers for their guides which helped this noob tremendously.
