Then cloned the largest from these clusters.

And they are in the dehydrator now.

Except for the caps on their second round of prints.

Planning a give away in the marketplace for my 1000th post if I can shut up long enough to prepare everything before going over 1000. Will do it in any case. International and non machinable stamps should arrive today or tomorrow. Will also have fresh tamps and older PE swabs in that give away. The damn SN-APEs are too damn slow for this give away. So they will have to be in my second shot on the marketplace.

So after a couple contamination and spotty fruiting adventures with this species, I got this!

It's a 51qt mono spawned with rye on 1-8-23 @1-2.5 or so spawn/sub ratio. The fruits are a week and a half to two weeks old at this point. The substrate is a sterilized CV with some gypsum, sand, and calcium bentonite clay added. Cased at 80%-90% with pasteurized 50/50 with lime and a little and sand added.
I think casing earlier than 100% colonization helped out a lot in my dry winter grow room conditions with these.

This is one of two clone cultures that is producing short fat fruits. That's 13 mind-blowing trips from one quart of spawn.

Well, much better than the spaghetti sticks I had last time , but I don't mind, I'll take my time harvesting them. I have a cacti growlight on the right side.. and apart form that this tub is a bit shaded (other tubs stacked on top) fae is low.. so it's all twisted, but thats fine, as long as it's producing fruits . Maybe I'll add another fae hole on the short side.

I've been following this thread for a few weeks and all I can say is, wow, just awesome, awesome work all around.
I just saw that SporeWorks currently has a sale on P. Semperviva (and a few others), so I picked up a syringe. Only $15! Looking forward to trying this species out.

Second clone tub coming in.. yielded better than the first and still clean, recased and set up for second flush, another tub pushing third flush, about two months in fruiting total for that guy so far. Diminishing returns at this point but Iām going to keep it around until it either completely stops or contaminates to see how long it will go for. Clone
