This is my fourth transfer of aerial mycelium to try and shake this nasty bacteria. It all ways just seems to piggyback its way. I have some gentamicin sulfate but online it says store at -20C and mine has been room temp for probably 5 years. Anyone think that worth it? Is it just garbage? Im gonna go t5 and also go back to the original sample.

What are you using to transfer?
Have you heard of needle transfers or anything Josex has written up about transferring away from contamination? Heres his useful writeup on how to clean up that culture with a 21G needle, some BRF, and a sterile syringe. I personally wouldn't waste my time with antibiotic things for agar as I've heard good sterile techniques are superior

Edit: Just realizing u have 7k posts. U probably know more than me lol
