Question on vermiculite

Quick question for vermiculite i noticed there is a few different ones one was heavy one was light as you can see in the photos down below one seems to be premixed with water or something in it the other one feels like feathers the bottom one is the first one not the right one would you recommend the 2nd one?

I'm having a hard time understanding which picture is which here.
But you would want to go for the lighter dry vermiculite with nothing mixed into it.
No water, nutrients, or moisture.
Pure dry horticultural vermiculite with no additives.

Sorry should of worded it better, 1st photo was the one that was wet / moisture seemed already in it weighted like 10-12 lbs + seemed already while the other one just was feathers light, alright that makes since first one isnt good light one is best

You got it, just make sure its just regular old vermiculite with nothing else and it'll do just fine.

Ya verm should always feel light, don't worry to much about the grade, they all work, though I prefer a coarse grade for mixing with coir and a fine grade for BRF substrate. You can use coarse grade for cakes too if you can't find the fine grade.
