Biological wall mold removal - hazard for growing?
    #27067960 - 12/02/20 10:32 AM (3 years, 1 month ago)

Hi there, I am new here. I couldn't find anything similar on the forum by searching through keywords, so please help if you can: I had a small patch of black/green mould developing on the wall so I decided to try and get rid of it by using parasitic organisms ("Bio Repel" in Czech Republic, containing Panicum miliaceum, Phytium oligandrum and Chromista-Stramenophila).
It's supposed to be a permanent solution because these organisms inhabit the walls even after killing the existing mould.
It occurred to me that this could be a problem because I am growing mushrooms in my flat and I could get a contamination of these "good" fungi infecting my mycelium. Indeed, it says in the instructions (which I read too late) it should not be used in places where mushrooms are being cultivated. Did anyone try this before?

Thanks,
Katarina

Try this:

*Vinegar and Hydrogen Peroxide as Disinfectants...

Or try this:

Vinegar / Bleach combo

https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/7662231

I use both of these, for killing mold..

Bleach and vinegar put out toxic fumes so use with ventilation..

Congratulation on number one post..

Yes this could be potentially hazardous to your grow.
Perhaps you could use microban to remove them.
