I've started messing with mushroom growing very recently and this question is about my first ever project, and yes it's a grow kit (sorry).
Right now it's in its second flush. The first flush yielded about 2g dry and had some troubles (a more detailed description is at the bottom of this post). After harvest, I dunked the cake for 12 hours and then transferred it to SGFC. In the first week, it showed some growth (patches of mycelium on verm + 3-4 new pins. Now for about 4-5 days, it is completely stalled - pins are not growing and the surface is not changing either. Here's how it looks:

And here is SGFC:

I've looked at the "How it shouldn't look" post and noticed that I have some blueish patches that look very similar to the "blue/grey tint from drying out" picture there. I feel like I've been misting the cake pretty heavily - I mist until it is glistening and the surface is covered in tiny water droplets and re-mist once it loses that look (usually have to mist 4-5 times a day), but maybe it's not enough with the amount of FAE SGFC provides.
If that is the case, should I consider plugging in some holes in SGFC or even transferring the cake to another container? I have a spare 4-liter tub that I'm planning to use as a monotub later, but I can just place the cake inside and crack the lid if that would be better for the cake.
Thank you very much for reading and sorry for a noob grow kit question, I know there's a ton of those popping up here and they give some people around here conniptions at this point. But I would really like to save this cake if possible and another pair of eyes is always helpful when you learn things.
The full history of the cake:
I started this grow kit about a month ago. It came in a standard setup - cake in a plastic 900ml container, some perlite at the bottom, casing layer of verm at the top + a bag with GE filters and two paperclips.
I followed grow kit instructions for the first flush - kept it in the bag and misted/fanned twice a day. It colonized the casing layer partially and after about a week I started seeing first fruits - just a couple of tiny pins.
Then it stalled for about a week - pins were not growing at all during this time.
During the third week, about 10 new pins popped up and those actually grew into full-sized mushrooms (although they were still pretty small, the biggest ones very about 3-4cm in size). After veils got broken on them and the caps opened, I decided to harvest everything, including a bunch of side pins, and dunked the cake in room temp water for about 12 hours. After the dunk, it had a sweet fruity smell, but I've read here that it happens sometimes and not necessarily concerning.
I built SGFC for some other projects by that time, so I decided to ditch the bag, extracted the cake out of a plastic container, and put it inside SGFC.
