ID help: 5 lbs wild harvest! P. Allenii -- Which mushies are prime vs. spoiled?

Today I went on a nice 7 mile walk around town (Marin County, CA), and on the way back home stumbled onto the largest patch of Allenii I've ever seen in my life. It was at least 30' x 20', and 90% of it was out in the open, with a sheet of leaves over it.
Every time I wiped some leaves away, it uncovered 2-3 batches of fully grown Allenii. It was beautiful. I always bring a plastic grocery bag with me on walks around this time of year, just in case. Today I spent a solid 90 minutes harvesting these mushrooms, still leaving 35%+ and careful to not pull up any mycelium.
I filled the bag to the point where I could barely tie it closed for the walk home. It weighed out at 5 lbs on the scale (and yes, I just had to weigh it at a Whole Foods ), and now I'm going through them one-by-one figuring out if they're spoiled/unsafe to eat.
I've included a variety of pictures, and am grateful for any and all help you guys can provide.
Cheers!

The bag was legit heavy by the time I clocked the final two miles.

Here's a few examples of the ones I left there, thinking they might be past their prime.

Finally, this is about the spread of what these guys look like throughout the entire harvest.

Holy lucky macaroni! That's a whole lot of magick
Select the best looking ones for drying, make a slurry out of the rest and spread them around. I'm sure there is enough good looking ones there to last you a year or two. 1.5 grams of those dried is a spectacular journey. 1 gram on lemon juice is equally strong.

Thank you! It's going to take me hours just to sort these guys.
Two questions:
1.) What would you use as a good indicator that a mushie is past it's prime? Color? Texture? Etc...
2.) Do you happen to have a link to how to make the slurry?
Cheers

2. A slurry is simply water + fruiting bodies blended in a blender. This way you'll spread tissue and spores. You can also make spore water only where you'd soak the mushrooms in water and then filter them out. You'll end up with a blue fluid loaded with spores.
1. Use your nose to try determine consumability. If that makes sense. "Funky" smell points toward rotting and presence of bacteria. No bueno. You'll get a hang of it real quick once that funky smell hits your nose.
Maybe others have better ways and ideas/opinions.
Also, you can search this forum for threads discussing similar questions. Here is a search I ran for "still consumable" but you could use different words of course

Yeah, lol. I live about 2 blocks from a Whole Foods (it’s Marin...how can you not? 😊). The bag was so heavy, my GF mentioned weighing them when I got back, and I just couldn’t pass up the opportunity. I do regret using the Wal-Mart bag, though. Bah.

Spread them out to where they are not touching or they can start rotting. Either put a fan on them or use a dehydrator dry them. You can also use an oven on lowest setting usually 170-190°f is the lowest oven setting, just leave the oven door cracked open.
As for telling what is not safe or "past prime" I not a100% certain it will be the same with allenii but my experience with cubensis is the bad one's will turn into a powdery crumbly mess with little effort after drying, they have always been easy to separate and obvious to me from the first time I ever saw it. Wish I could be of more help. Excellent find!!!

You guys are having a psilocybe season like we did here on the east coast! Really awesome finds for sure. Those ones with the darkened edges I would have absolutely picked and sat aside for tea only.

Thanks for all the kind words, ya'll! I'll head back again today, take some better pictures, and see if I can't harvest another couple lbs.
I've got these bad boys drying now. Looking forward to weighing out the final yield.
